Opened in the summer of 2012, the planning for our funeral home began some time ago. With more than 32 years of experience in funeral service, it was evident to us that very often, as the wishes of those needing a funeral home were changing, funeral service was not.
At Gaylord Community Funeral Home & Cremation Service our goal is to listen, to offer suggestions and to provide the best possible service to you and your family with care, compassion and common sense.We are focused entirely on your needs, comfort and convenience and not at all on products. When a death occurs, families need to turn to someone they can trust and depend upon. That is where we come in. With every death comes an opportunity to remember, honor and celebrate that life appropriately. Today, for many families, the difficulty comes in deciding what is appropriate. From the moment they picked up my dad at home, these hard workers showed so much compassion and true kindness. The Funeral home is lovely. It has a homey feeling and makes for a very comfortable place for family and friends. Joe was truly amazing helping me plan my dads funeral, some funeral homes push you to buy things not needed. NOT this place, Joe was honest and kind and listened to my family's wishes even if some of my questions were silly he answered me with so much respect.. He and his staff Rachel and Dennis were so kind and helpful. I love the set up here, beautiful kitchen and actual

I live out in Lincoln Nebraska and my mother passed away during this current stuff whole family is laid off waiting for. Stimulus checks and unemployment I called these people to see what they would charge for a simple cremation with a viewing to get prices because I had to do it all within 48 hours and when I called the John And back the next day after he left a message to let him know we were going with someone else he insulted us by telling us we were better off because you don’t do business like this you don’t give people prices that don’t come to his company he said it sounded like somebody

THE STAFF WAS ABSOLUTLY THE BEST. THE CARE, COMPASSION AND THE WAY THEY GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO BE ACCOMODATING IS EXCELLENT. THE LITTLE TOUCHES THEY DO LIKE THE ROSE ON THE PILLOW WHEN YOU PICKED OUR LOVED ONE UP TO FIND AFTER YOU LEFT WAS SO VERY SPECIAL. YOUR GOAL IS SO MUCH ABOUT THE FAMILY AND CARING . YOU CONTINUE TO CALL JUST TO CHECK AND SEE HOW EVERYONE IS DOING EVEN AFTER A MONTH AND OFFER ASSISTANCE IN ANY WAY. CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT YOUR SERVICES.
