For the last 10 years, I have worked in and around the field of arboriculture. My work experience has brought me through all the different fields of the landscape industry, from masonry and installation/design, to mowing lawns and clean ups. I have always been intrigued by the strength, skill, and ingenuity required to safely remove a massive tree; be it next to a residence, or spreading over a finely manicured garden.
With this interest, I pursued every opportunity I could to become engaged in the art of tree work; from felling spruce in Oregon to mill, harvesting and hauling firewood while living in the Arctic of Alaska, and working for the Forest Service in the Tongass maintaining and building hiking trails.
