Shady. I was told a 1944 and 1943 walking liberty half dollar was 55% and When I said 90% he insisted it was only 55%. Guess he needed the money more than me or was incompetent. Either way I would not recommend the place to anyone.

Best Jeweler in town. Largest gold jewelry selection around, and also very fair prices. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Owner is an awesome guy, and very patient. Bought multiple gold pieces now snd will continue to go back time and time again. Highly recommended!!!

I was very impressed with this Jeweler. The owner and staff should be commended on their integrity and transparence whilst dealing with customers buying and selling at their establishment. Fair prices (in all manners) and a friendly, approachable staff make a visit here a truly enjoyable experience.

I would give a zero if possible. I arrived at the store thirty minutes after they opened and the store was absolutely EMPTY. he had nothing out and said that he waited one hour after opening to put everything out. He told us to come back later on

I’ve gone to Alec’s store on multiple occasions and have had all phenomenal customer service each and every time!
Alec is very knowledgeable about jewelry and he will even advise you on his expertise, if you are willing and wanting to learn.
I have bought and sold multiple gold, silver and pocket watches to Alec. Each time he offered fair market value when selling and he offered me great prices when buying.
His hours of operation really work out perfect for all customers as he is in early and stays open late. I work 8-5 Monday through Friday so it works out good he stays open after 5!

I had some old silver coins, got prices from 3 different coin - silver buyers in Erie, he was the highest by over $30.00, ....nice guy to deal with, and honest too, told me to hang on to some coins till silver gets higher, that I would get more than I would now.
