River City Towing Services, Inc. was founded in 1985. Our firm is a tank barge company which specializes in the transportation of petroleum and chemical products. We are a member of the American Waterways Operators and have been certified under the AWO Responsible Carrier Program since its inception.
Our current fleet consists of 10,000 barrel double hulled inland tank barges. Our team has over 100 years of experience in the marine transportation industry. We can coordinate the logistics of your barge movements from the point of origin to the point of delivery in an efficient, safe and timely manner.

Our barge fleet consists of 10,000 barrel inland tank barges. Each barge has an extensive Cargo Authority List of Grade A and Lower cargoes that may be carried. Many RCT barges are equipped with specialty additions such as cargo tank liners, vapor recovery systems, full perimeter spill rails and steam coils.
