Since 2003, the team at Dyersburg Family Eye Care has strived to provide exceptional eye care for the entire family. We are locally owned and independently operated, which allows us to put our patients first. Our staff prides itself on the fact that we have deep personal relationships with our patients that have been forged through years of loyal service.

Dyersburg Family Eye Care was established in the year 2003 and has been offering quality eye care services to the Dyersburg area ever since. We strive to provide exceptional eye care services to everyone who visits us. Dr. Lewis grew up in Lexington, TN and earned his undergraduate degree from The University of Tennessee at Martin.

Our doctors are participants in a national program called InfantSEE that provides free eye exams to infants under one year of age. The American Optometric Association recommends that every child have an eye exam within the first year of life, as well as at three and five years old. These exams can be crucial in identifying issues that could lead to long-term difficulties if not addressed appropriately at an early age.

Both of our doctors thoroughly enjoy working with children. The eyes play a major role in development in school as well as socially. Even if your child doesn't seem to have issues with their eyes, it is a great idea to get their eyes checked. Things can slip through the cracks for all parents, and an eye exam is just as meaningful as a yearly checkup with their primary physician.

There are a multitude of contact lens options for patients in today's world. Our doctors are equipped to fit patients of all ages in contact lenses. Many people believe that they are not candidates for contacts due to astigmatism, discomfort in previous lenses, or needing reading glasses, but this isn't always true.
