I've been training here for a little over 8 months after moving from out of state, and I'm very happy that I found this school. Professor Miriam is highly accomplished as a competitor, cares about her students, and has excellent teaching skills. I can easily map my progress here in the last year. They offer a wide variety of class times throughout the week: morning, midday, and evening.

I am most drawn to the class style. There is a friendly atmosphere and we're there to both learn and have fun. Beginners are always welcomed, and there is a good mix of experience levels. Also important

That's the place I call home: the place where the spirit and the body get challenged every day and grow up; the place where I come in tired and frustrated and get out exhausted, happy and satisfied; my daily therapy.

Professor Miriam Cardoso is a 5-time world Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu champion: she won her first Nationals in 2001 just after 3 months of training, she then won nationals 7 times after that and in 2002 she began competing at the world level. In 2004 her world-winning career launched, taking first place 5 times over the next 4 years.
But being a world class competitor doesn't

I joined jiujitsu so that I could have a healthy outlet in the midst of working and going to a small school and I have not regretted it. All the professors are more than friendly and caring, the workouts are challenging and I have become a better person because of this gym.

Truly great school and team! Miriam is a world class competitor, and an excellent, patient teacher. In addition, there are plenty of friendly intermediate belts that are happy to help beginners like myself. The facilities are nice / clean / modern and the membership system is well managed. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to train in BJJ!

I've been attending jiujitsu classes and training with Andrew Solheim at Elite Everett BJJ for 2 years.

I'm a 2013 Pan-American medalist in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation.

This is one of the best and only places in the Everett area and the Puget Sound area to teach world-class jiu-jitsu to the general public.

As a world-class athlete and accomplished competitor, I can attest to the friendly, family environment that this business provides to its clients and that they treat people fairly and with respect.

There really isn't another place

Fun, challenging, overall a great experience...perfect for my first Brazilian Jiu Jitsu experience. The professors were very welcoming, extremely knowledgeable and phenomenal technicians. As a former college wrestler and coach, I was very impressed with the professors and everyone at Elite BJJ, beginners to masters. Strong camaraderie and a sense of family. I am definitely hooked!

I was up visiting family from Oregon in the Redmond area and came across Elite BJJ. I was able to train as a guest and sent an email before heading out there. They quickly sent an email back and welcomed me for a train.

First reaction - clean, professional and family atmosphere, still having a new smell to the gym. There was a shop in the front with a bathroom/changing room in the back with some couches to chill at.

Professor Miriam Cardoso wasn't there when I arrived, but was welcomed by a student while Professor Andrea Emmel was finishing up one of the kids classes. When Miriam arrived
