Boutique DJs is owned and operated by Josh Dukes and David Carvalho, two of the most sought after private and club DJs for over 10 years in the San Francisco Bay Area. We hand select each of the DJs at Boutique to make sure they are a perfect fit for your event. We are very versatile and are used to playing to many different types of crowds and age ranges.
After receiving a great recommendation from some friends, we hired DJ David Carvalho to entertain our reception. For their over-the-top destination wedding, Erin and Carter are planning a sunset ceremony at a luxury resort on the beach in Los Cabos. Style Unveiled, as hard as we try, knows that sometimes it takes a woman who's walking in your same 'heels' to help with something like planning a day as big as a wedding.
Josh is the best. Hands down. My wife and I were so excited when we found out he was available for our wedding date. From start to finish, he is a true professional. Open to just about any request, and his playlists made from your suggestions are spectacular! Great communication leading up to the event, making the actual night seamless.
In this day and age people seem to be following the trend of the non-traditional wedding. Not to say some important traditions have been kept alive, but people are wanting to customize their weddings to their personalities. Even the music selections have drastically changed with the days of the chicken dance and the electric slide far behind us.
Our common setup includes a 2 speaker sound system with DJ equipment, a wireless microphone and customized music playlists based on your song selections. This sound system setup is loud enough for about 150 guests. We can rent you extra speakers, lights, projectors, etc. if needed and we can also provide extra sound setups for ceremonies or separate areas.

Thank you Boutique DJ's for the great job at my daughters wedding last week at the Auberge. I wish I could remember the DJ's name to give him a shout out as he was so good. He made sure the evenings timing was on point and chose the perfect music that had every guest in attendance on the dance floor all night long. Would highly recommend!

We booked with Boutique as it was on our venue's recommended vendor list and the services and pricing were competitive with other providers we researched. Alex was our event manager, and she was super responsive and accommodating with drafting up the contract, working out logistics, and our completing our initial music preferences questionnaire. In the weeks leading up the wedding, we were assigned to work with DJ Ben. We had a pretty good idea of the music we wanted to play throughout the night, and Ben was super helpful for the days and months leading up to our wedding. He was super easy

Amazing experience from start to finish. We filled out a form about our music preferences for our wedding (dinner and reception), and spoke briefly with DJ Justin a month prior to our wedding date to review the form together. DJ Justin was SUPERB. He totally delivered the vibe we were going for during dinner and after party! It was spot on and the dance floor was full all night. DJ Vaughn Wooster did an excellent job playing all of our songs and mixing in others to really keep our party going. My wife and I booked Boutique DJs for our Wedding. We were able to chat with Josh before the event; locking down some of our favorites and not so favorite songs. We had a fun chat about the what we were looking for in the flow of the event, dance floor and evening. IT WAS INCREDIBLE!! He was able to seamlessly transition songs, keep the energy up, and even gave us some unique moments made just for our wedding. We hired Boutique DJ's for our September 2018 wedding in Sonoma County. Working with Alex was great, she is very responsive and accessible whenever I had any questions. Our DJ was Josh Babbidge and we also hired the Carl Vast Jazz Trio. Josh was great, he stuck to our playlist requests and had to deal with a lot of special requests. There were a couple awkward transitions during the father/daughter, mother/son dance, but all in all everyone had a great time and the music was great.

We had Patrick DJ the after party after our wedding. We had a quick 10 min phone call and just discussed the overall vibe we were going for. We told him since it was after our wedding, we strictly wanted ALL dancing music.. To which he nailed! Even after a 6 hour wedding, guests were STILL on the dance floor for the 3 hour after party. He played a great mix of remixed oldies and a bunch of today's hits per our request. We would 100% recommend using Boutique DJs & Entertainment, specifically Patrick for your event! DJs should be easy to work with and set the right vibe, and that's exactly what our DJ, Patrick Diaz, did. We reached out to Dj Josh Dukes through his website about 6-7 months prior to our wedding on 10/15/2017. He quickly connected us to his company Boutique Dj's and we coordinated both through Alex and Josh to finalize what we needed.

We booked Boutique DJs as a recommendation from our wedding planner. Specially Josh Dukes, one of the owners/founders was our DJ. When selecting the DJ, we were impressed by how professional Josh was. He was able to share with us previous playlists, and we really liked his style. Before the wedding, you fill out music planning form online, which you can save, and go back to and make edits. A week or so before the wedding, we had several communications with Josh so we can make sure that everything was prepared for the wedding.

We booked DJ Zach Lonas through Boutique DJs for our wedding at Farmstead. Zach was AMAZING. I knew he hadn't DJed many Iranian-American weddings before (I'm Iranian-American and my husband is American), but I still wanted him because he clearly knew what he was talking about, he was really nice and professional, and he had great reviews on Yelp.

Wow, this DJ service is top-notch. They really listened to what we were looking for in terms of a playlist and kept the energy going throughout the night. The mixing skills were outrageously good! We used Boutique DJ's for our wedding this August and they had Justin come out to be our DJ. We could not be more impressed and happy with the level of service leading up to our wedding (music planning...etc) and the fantastic job they/he did the day of. He played great music which was right in line with the styles of music we asked for, was able to take requests, the system was perfect for our ceremony and for the speeches! Whilst they are a little on the pricey side, they are absolutely worth every penny, and this is coming from someone who was on a very tight budget for our wedding.
