Where as Dr. Fuentes was professional, I was quite taken back at the lack of help the office would offer me in respect to payment. In an emergency situation, I had to drive to Huntington hospital to have 8 stitches put in my sons pinky toe. This was after trying his regular pediatrician and walk-ins. My son was very scared and could only be treated at the hospital since they had the means to restrain him. Dr. Fuentes has to come in for other patients that day (not just my son), and I still don’t understand How no one else at the hospital could do 8 stitches. I explained before hand that we did

I went to Dr.Fuentes office back in April 2020 when the whole pandemic just started. I went in for a scar revision to the forehead after a fall. When I called the receptionist she seemed as if she didn’t want me to go. I was traveling from Brooklyn and found this doctor through a recommendation and didn’t mind traveling 45 minutes to have him see me. I called around 10am and the front desk receptionist told me I can come in at noon. I feel so very blessed that Dr. Fuentes was the doctor on call the night that I suffered a injury to my nose from a dog bite. My left nostril was severed and I also suffered a large laceration to my septum and a small one to my lower lip. Dr. Fuentes was incredibly confident, sensitive, and calming during this traumatic night for me. He repaired my face with incredible ease and precision. Dr. Fuentes awaited our arrival at Huntington Hospital for emergency stitches our 4 year old needed on her face. He was patient with our screaming child and explained what he would be doing to us. He worked calmly and swiftly under the pressure of our screaming, scared child. He followed up with a personal call the following morning. Post op he made our daughter feel comfortable and eased her fears of stitch removal. He included her in the process allowing her to hold the tools and giving her a sense of some control. He explained what should be done, as well as sent a hand written follow up note

Dr. Fuentes is absolutely amazing. Jan, his assistant, is awesome, too. I needed extensive work done on my eyes, but I never expected to feel so well taken care of. I could not imagine any celebrity being treated better. And the best part is that two weeks after surgery, friends could not even find the tiny scars.
I have since reccomended him to several friends, many of whom begged for his contact info. If you need any kind of corrective work done, this is definitely the place to go!

My 3 year old son fell and required a number of stitches on his chin. Dr. Fuentes was recommended to me by a friend, and I cannot recommend him enough. On a beautiful Saturday afternoon when most people would be out enjoying the day, Dr. Fuentes immediately met us at the hospital to stitch my son. We were in and out of the hospital in just a short amount of time, with no waiting. Dr. Fuentes has a wonderful bedside manner, and my 3 year old was so comfortable with him. Definitely save his number in your phones in the event of any emergencies - I've been telling all of my friends to do the same

Dr Fuentes is the best! We met him in the hospital when my 4 year old daughter needed stitches in her chin, he did a great job, was very quick and calm despite a child that was not too happy about it. My daughter actually loved him! Then when my 2 year old daughter needed stitches in her eyelid, we called him immediately and he met us at the hospital ER which meant we didn't have to wait at all and that was amazing! My husband suffered a very bad laceration to his two fingers. Dr. Fuentes was so caring from the emergency room to all of his follow up visits. Dr. Fuentes came out on a Sunday morning and met us at Huntington Hospital, which by the way the hospital was also great and made my husband and I feel calm and comfortable. The follow up visits to his office was also a pleasant experience. All the girls that answered the phone were very friendly and caring. They answered all my questions. Brought my 6 yr son to Huntington hospital tonight and requested plastic surgeon after it was determined my son required stitches on split eye. Dr Fuentes was calming, yet confident, went over all steps prior to procedure & while working on my son kept checking on me to make sure I was ok. Follow up on Friday, but am so grateful to have him available for my baby.
