As an optometrist in Seattle, our primary eye care service includes a complete eye exam that analyzes eye health and vision function.
Welcome to the new patient center for Columbia Vision Center! We understand that your time is precious and that you need an optometrist who is professional, yet convenient for your schedule and lifestyle. In order to make the transition to our office smoother for you, we have created a New Patient Center with everything you need to get started.
Eye examinations may be billed through vision insurance or your medical insurance. If your exam reveals a medical diagnosis like cataracts or dry eye syndrome, it is more appropriate to bill your medical insurance for the exam. You are only responsible for your copay and " special testing " not covered by your insurance.
It is our intention to provide our patients with the best possible contact lens services and materials available. Therefore, we are continually updating our lens inventory so that we can provide you with the latest products in contact lenses and solution.
In order to maintain quality care, we strongly believe that providing our patients with all pertinent information regarding the procedures and fees relating to contact lenses before services are rendered is in the best interest of everyone.We recommend a full eye exam yearly. The contact lens evaluation is NOT part of a full eye health exam.

The Doctor was very informative about my eyes, glasses, contacts, future laser surgery and results. Glasses are affordable and the styles are broad which I like, you can definitely get trendy style but I prefer more simple frames and glad they had it. Seems like most of their frames are made in Europe, better quality, a bit higher price but last longer without being destroyed by me

I was having the worst left eye pain - like a piece of glass stuck in there that I couldn't get out. CVC was able to squeeze me in two hours after I called to try to get a last-minute appointment!!!
My experience was amazing - Dr. Hua is super thorough and helped me diagnose a problem I had no idea was not normal (double vision) whenever someone relaxes their eyes. Really excited at the thought that I may not have to deal with this anymore!!!
All in all super positive experience with everyone on staff at CVC. Looking forward to referring them to friends and family.

I'm not a big fan of wearing glasses or the way they look on me. The team at Columbia Vision Center is so patient and amazing at helping you find a pair of glasses that make you feel good! They are also great at helping out with finding similar unicorn pairs within a budget.
Dr. Hua provides exceptional care and detailed explanations for all eye concerns. She has helped immensely with providing advice for managing dry eyes.

I just completed my annual eye exam and the outcome was again top-rate for me. Having moved out of town last year, I made the trip to Seattle rather than find a new vision clinic, because Dr. Hua and her staff are very professional, with a great customer service approach. Dr. Hua recapped the results for me and made recommendations on the choice of adding a paid of computer only glasses. The staff gave me advice on how to maximize my insurance coverage, and Le cheerfully adjusted my current frames and replaced the eye pads. I have always found their advice on frame selection very effective

I've been seeing Dr. Hua and her staff for over 10 years and got my first pair of eyeglasses from her. Each year I alternate buying computer glasses, my transitional pair, and sunglasses. This year I got sunglasses. Her staff know me well, I receive great customer service, and trust their recommendations. I wouldn't go anywhere else! I look forward to seeing them again next year for a new pair of transitional lenses.

Amazing staff! It was my first appointment there and they helped the process move quickly and painlessly. The examination was thorough and well explained. They have a great selection of frames and the staff helped me make a decision on the perfect pair, offering good advice, not merely agreeing with everything I liked, which is greatly appreciated and makes you feel like they care.

The optician staff offered professional friendly and genuine caring guidance with selecting the proper fit and look glasses. Dr. Brittany Ng also provided her help, when I requested, making sure the new lenses would have all of the requirements my eyes need. I felt well cared for by a wonderful group at Columbia Vision. Honestly, as someone who has worn eye wear for over 40 years, the BEST optician experience I have ever had.

I am giving CVC a two star review for only one reason: they won't give you your complete eyeglasses prescription, including your "PD" unless you buy glasses from them. Basically this means you can't go to them for just the eye check up but buy glasses from a cheaper online store. They would give it to me if I bought a $50 package but that is more expensive than the service is worth. Also their in house frames are above average cost. If their in house frames were more reasonably priced I would take this into account. But basically it feels like they're holding my prescription

I really liked the sky view and bummed that they are closed for Seattle summer. But it's OK, I still have to come near to get my glasses - and it turned out the best optometry experience I have ever had! I browsed their online catalog and picked a frame I liked. Amid COVID, they have to take temps when you first enter. The clinic is small but cute. Because my frame has to be ordered and they don't have a lab in the same facility, I had to come back in separate trips but it's well worth it! I had a good feeling about the frame and it was surprisingly awesome when I put them on finally

I went in looking to update my style, and they encouraged me to be bold. Unfortunately my glasses gave me headaches. After going back, we realized they needed to be adjusted, and they did so gladly and free of charge. I've never gotten so many complements on my glasses--6 at my boyfriend's holiday party this weekend! So glad I went there--they do a great job and everyone was suuuper friendly! Much much much happier with the glasses and service I got over a mail-in place--really customized my support. Worth the price.

I've been seeing Dr. Hua for over fifteen years. My son recently started seeing her for his eye care needs, too. Dr. Hua and her staff are wonderful and exemplify all the best qualities of health care and apparel services. "Health care and apparel...?" You might ask. But, the truth of it is, appearance and health are both extraordinarily critical when it comes to eye care. You want to see clearly and look good when you are seen seeing!
