The Zanesville Day Nursery is a not-for-profit 501-C3 organization that cares for the children of working parents. It is managed by a Director who is responsible to a twenty (20) member Board of Directors. The program is annually accredited by the state and approved to provide day care as a subset to a strong educational program appropriate for each child's age.
The Zanesville Day Nursery Association, a not-for-profit 501-C3 organization, was founded in 1915 by a joint committee of The Women's Benevolent Society and Zanesville Welfare Organization for the purpose of caring for the children of working parents. It is managed by a Director who is responsible to a twenty (20) member Board of Directors.
The Director is to approve a payment schedule (weekly, twice monthly, or monthly) with each new family. The following day after a missed payment the family shall be given a verbal reminder by the Director. After one week, the Director shall issue a written reminder. After two weeks, if the family fails to bring their account up-to-date, they will be told the child may not be return to ZDN until a payment is made.
If your child has a body rash, especially with a fever or itching, has lice or nits, please keep him or her home. If your child comes down with any contagious illnesses, such as the flu, pink eye, strep throat, or chicken pox, please let us know so we can post the illness so we can inform other parents.
