I recommend this place to anybody who is in pain, or just needs to get a massage. I have been going here for several years after I was in a car accident. The last time I was in a car accident before that was twelve years where I live with pain in my back almost constantly. I go here at least once a month- to every two to three months now and it's amazing..

Under new ownership and Nora speaks English! Her husband Joe is phenomenal, as are all of the massage therapists. Now that we have a translator it is a lot better, just to be able to tell them exactly what you need. The price is very reasonable and I encourage a good tip for such excellent service at a fair price. Try it, you'll LOVE IT!! Thank you Nora!!

Literally the best massage I ever received - and I received many many many massages. ESPECIALLY for the price! Got a full body deep tissue massage with my girlfriend for a an hour and it was just great , got massages with hot stones then had some hot towels to relax the body and clean off the massage oil at the end of the massage! Didn't quite get their names but at the end when my girlfriend and I were talking about our massages , they were almost identical in detail of their work , efficiency, and quality! VERY CONFUSING! I thought thIs was a new massage place but when I came in it was the old Massage parlor called "Pinole Family Spa." The name Amethyst was no where I'm the business. I don't think ownership had changed cause it did not state it. After my massage I looked for PInole Family Spa on yelp and saw why they started a new yelp business page. It's very deceiving.

I received a 90 minutes body massage from Lora this morning. She really helped me to set my body back in order. I booked the appointment a day before and it was pretty easy. She asked about my problems and targeted my shoulders as I requested. The service was pretty good. The price is not high as other massage. I will definitely come back next time!!!

Upon arrival the lady was very kind. No one was in the Spa so they were quick to take me in. The massage began very ruff. However ended with hot stones. The massage was ok I decided to try and make the best of it.
Come payment time I provided the lady with a tip. The lady informed me it's not enough. I was shocked. So I pulled out more money and added more money on the credit card slip. The lady still looked at me disappointed. I was in greater Shock.

Horrible place for massage. We went there for a couple massage today. The lady was so rude and lazy. When asked if can she make it harder she said "I'll do it later" when asked what do you mean later, she said "get a man". She started yelling and we just ended leaving that place. If there is a a no star rating, i should give this place a no star rating.

Love this place...no frills but they definitely know how to heal your ailments. Always come put feeling better and they are super nice. The therapists who work there know what they are doing and you cant beat the prices. I always try to make this my top priority in self care and this is my #1 spot. My usual sessions are 2 hours long and they really do take care of you for those 2 hours unlike other places where you pay for 60 min and get 50. Please make sure you tip your therapists at least 20% for all their hard work.

The message was great the lady at the end basically demanded a $10 tip pointing at the paper I felt uncomfortable they make u feel like u have to tip $10. What if your on a budget then what? U shouldn't have to feel like u have to give $10 tip if u don't want too. Give what u can . $60 dollar massage turned into a $70 😒 I was will to give $5 tip not $10 people Beware .So I won't be going back
