Hello, I am Dr. Bob Arthur. I graduated from Shawnee High School and currently live in Swedesboro, NJ with my two amazing children. In 2003, I graduated from Rutgers University - Cook College, with Honors and received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Nutrition. I went on to continue my education at the University of Pennsylvania - School of Dental Medicine.
At Arthur Family Dental, your first visit to our office will consist of dental x-rays, a professional dental cleaning, and a very thorough comprehensive oral examination. Your exam will include an oral cancer screening, a complete periodontal (gum) examination, a TMJ analysis, a bite analysis, and a functional cosmetic evaluation of your teeth.
At Arthur Family Dental, we recommend a child's first dental appointment be scheduled no later than their first birthday. A typical first pediatric appointment is very short and involves little dental treatment. We may ask you to sit in the chair and hold your child during his/her examination to make your child comfortable as he/she bonds with the dentist and hygienist.
If you are having an emergency dental situation or are in extreme pain, we will make every attempt to schedule you that day. We try our best to stay on schedule and minimize patient wait times but on occasion emergencies do cause a delay. Arthur Family Dental understands dental emergencies can happen at any time.
At Arthur Family Dental, we make every effort to provide you with the finest care and the most convenient financial options. To accomplish this, we work with you to maximize your insurance reimbursement for covered procedures. Please bring the necessary information so we can assist you. Absolutely amazing team! I've always had a ton of issues with my teeth and Dr. Arthur and his team have been great. They make you feel comfortable and don't recommend anything you don't need. I've had a few dentists that want to perform procedures just to get the insurance money and Arthur Family Dental definitely does not do that!

I would highly recommend all friends and family members to go to Arthur Family Dental. From my personal experiences to date, Dr. Bob is the best dentist in the South Jersey region. He has constantly demonstrated high quality patient care and personal integrity. In coordination with a very experienced and friendly staff--in an immaculate office--Dr. Bob makes going to the dentist a very comfortable experience.

Casandra - I've been going to your building for over 55 years. Robert is the 3rd dentist I've had. when all the previous employees were no longer there I was very apprehensive as I was secure with them. I have to tell you that you guys are fantastic. I don't know anyone that looks forward to going to the dentist but you guys make it a very pleasant experience. Steve couldn't have picked a better person (and his assistants) to follow him.

The staff is very friendly. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. They had coffee and water for their patients in the waiting room. Dr. Arthur explained all my treatment options, and the front desk went over my copays. She explained my insurance to me and helped me understand my treatment plan. They definitely go above and beyond for their patients.
