My car was acting a little funny. It had no power when I was accelerating. So I saw all the great reviews on high tech. And decided to check this place out. Initially the tech said was going to charge 40 to diagnose the car. They call me up the next day because they were a little busy when I first too my car.
They said it was a coil and it was going to cost me 399 to get it fix. I had very little options. My car was already in their shop. So I said ok get it fix.
Initially after I got my car I found out. That they put a cheap coil on. Not even the manufature's coil. After 6 months my car

I came here for a tire leak for my driver side back tire. Fred was very patient in finding the leak for that tire as the two staples were not easy to find at all. He was also very helpful in showing me the process of how things are fixed. Thank you so much Fred for your patience and care. I will definitely be coming back for any other needs with my tires. I reported this establishment to the Better Business Bureau. My review of this shop is extremely accurate. The documentation under my hood is completely factory! That's why I was passed. You cannot fail someone, simply because they refuse to listen to your verbal abuse any longer or your lacking knowledge. I believe the person who helped do my SMOG check is Fred. Regardless, the service I received was above and beyond. Beyond testing my vehicle quickly and without delay, I was given information about the type of catalytic converter I had as well as it's manufacturer, and how the type of converter I had would determine if I passed or not (the catalytic converter part #). I went to Hi Tech Automotive today to get a smog test done. I had been to Fred's shop several times over the years and really appreciate his kindness, honesty and generosity. I moved back to So Cal and now needed a smog. It didn't pass, but he will be checking on it tomorrow so it can get repaired. Worst experience i've ever had buying tires, let alone dealing with an establishment in general I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy they put four used tires on my car and told me that my car needs an alignment after leaving the lot I noticed that my car was going towards the left so I got the alignment after all, my car was still going to the left we switch the tires to the other side, ironically, my car NOW went to the right it; was obvious that the issue is the used tires. Needed to get a smog check and started checking around Yelp to find a place. Hi Tech Automotive had good reviews so I decided to give them a shot.

I am really disappointed at the work this shop and its owner, FRED, had provided me.

My car needed new axles and the ac was not running well. Axles were bad. And the ac needed a recharge. I found Hi-tech on yelp and felt with the surprisingly many good reviews that he would be a great honest auto shop.

I stopped by the shop and he seemed like a nice guy, very persuasive and tries to earn your trust. What most shop owners are supposed to do. Also he Says he's a one man shop because he doesn't trust other people. That made me feel persuaded. But continue on..
