Architecture must satisfy its intended uses, must be technically sound, and must convey aesthetic meaning. But the best buildings are often so well constructed that they outlast their original use. They then survive not only as beautiful objects, but as documents of the history of cultures, achievements in architecture that testify to the nature of the society that produced them.

The evolution of the firms computer capabilities began in 1987. In an effort to stay competitive in the design markets and meet the demanding time constraints of a client's project schedule, the firm developed a CAD system to address design, production and office related services for all projects and tasks within the design office.

As the firms visualization needs grew, it became important for our clients to see for themselves the design ideas we were coming up with. Our designs had to be represented by illustrations preferably in the perspective views that we might see every day.

The only way we could do this was to show our clients renderings or at the very least, modeled design sketches which could illustrate our design intentions right from the beginning of our design process.It was always extremely valuable to receive early input from our clients about their ideas and using a modeling software would allow us to show our clients exactly what our combined ideas could create.

The architectural firm was created in Tulsa, Oklahoma in the winter of 1979 by Richard Joseph Lyles. Successful in the Southwest, the firm opened a second design office in Atlanta, Georgia in 1985 in an effort to bring the "client first" approach to design into the South Eastern market. In the last decade, this has become a very successful marketing approach throughout the country.
