I received my graduate education at Palo Alto University where I completed my clinical training at the Palo Alto VA and the National Center for PTSD. I then completed my internship at the Houston VA and a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at UT Health San Antonio with the STRONG STAR Consortium and the Consortium to Alleviate PTSD at Fort Hood.
From my perspective, the goal in therapy is not to erase the past but is to foster a new way of approaching the present and building the future. Whether you are struggling with PTSD, depression, anxiety, or another form of suffering, the goal of therapy is to gain or regain a quality of life that is fulfilling, meaningful, and vital.
