My HVAC career began in 2009 just after high-school when I got a job with a full service oil and propane company serving southeastern PA. I received valuable experience repairing, maintaining and installing all types of heating and cooling systems. Everything from oil and gas boilers and furnaces, tankless water heaters, heat-pumps, A/C units, mini-split heat-pumps, gas fireplaces, gas ranges, and the list could go on.
I also received valuable industry training including becoming NORA Gold Certified and EPA certified, as well as brand specific training. I continue to learn, and take training classes as often as possible. In 2015 I left my job to move to my wife's home area in the beautiful mountains of Floyd County.

This homeowner made a great choice by upgrading his old system to an inverter drive heatpump. We installed a Bosch 17.5 SEER Heatpump to replace his leaking 12 yr old system. He gained an additional 3.5 SEER efficiency in A/C as well as the low temp heating benefits this system offers. Do you worry about the electric bill when the weather man says a low of 10F overnight?
This Bosch Inverter drive 17.5 Seer Heatpump was install in a newly constructed home, giving the home owner the best value for his money. We expect he will recoup the extra cost of upgrading to this system in only four years. Here is why. Conventional heatpumps begin loosing efficiency around 32F, and by 10F you are heating almost exclusively with electric backup heat.
This customer was interested in using mini splits to heat and cool their home due to the high efficiency and ability to zone individual areas of the home. After a site evaluation and assessing the available options, we settled on a Fujitsu 3 zone system. Because this system will be the primary heat source, we chose the XLTH option which allows this unit to provide significant heat output at -15F!

I recently bought my first home in Floyd, VA and needed to replace it's old Fuel Oil Furnace. Josh was able to come out and take a look at the current system and recommend a much more efficient HVAC/Propane furnace system for a very good estimate. Josh was able to determine what size furnace and HVAC systems I would need, and gave me several great options/brands to choose from. His work on the install is of top-tier quality and I will be using his services exclusively in the future.

We have an outdoor furnace, and had a valve go bad in it. Josh came out quickly and repaired/replaced our problem, and had us with heat in no time! We were impressed with his timeliness and knowledge, so much so, that we had him replace our existing AC unit and air handler. He was professional, diligent, and his prices were lower than others we were quoted. We will definitely continue to use him in the future!

Josh was friendly and professional. He quickly worked me into his schedule after a snow storm cancelled his job for the day. My two heat pump units were icing up. He was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain what he was doing and any possible problems. I was impressed with his diagnostic equipment that communicated a multitude of data with his phone app. He performed a thorough system check. Most importantly I was able to get peace of mind the systems would continue to function properly at my second home five hours away.
