I have been using Ivey Tire for over 15 years, but will no longer do so. They have increased their prices to city of Atlanta levels. I really like them, but now on 4 different occasions I have got a quote from them (last one was $1100) and then traveled down to another garage and their quote was around half or a little more. A couple of times the garage down the road said that what Ivey wanted to do was not even needed. They seem to want to change my tie rods on all of my vehicles. I got an oil change recently and they charged me about $50 do change the cabin air filter. The filter costs $6 and

Few weeks back I was on business trip coming home from Athens , and my back rear tire on my 2016 dodge dart shredded. It was brand new tire and it shredded I got stranded at gas station. I called Ivey's tire and they were great. I got there 5 minutes before close yes they were busy too , but they hooked me up with only tire they had in stock for my car. Yes it was used tire but looked brand new and they gave me really great deal on it. Got me in and out and I was on my way. So I really do appreciate the great work they do here and how they take care they're customers. Thank you guys so much keep

College students do not use this shop. Here is my experience. I had two power steering repairs and two AC repairs don’t at this shop while I went to Georgia college. The reason I had two done of each is because each repair lasted for about 2 months. Each time they did a repair I had a second opinion look at the repair and told me the parts were used and in poor shape.
The AC repair is the worst of it. The repaired it, worked fine for two months, died out. Took it to a trusted repair shop back in North Atlanta, they told me the parts looked used. Took the truck back to the shop with this information

I took my car to Ivey Tire for a front end alignmen! The only reason I went there was because the best place in town for front end alignments could not do it because most of their mechanics were out with COVID! Their manager recommended Ivey Tire! After putting my care on the rack, Ivey Tire printed a bill saying I needed an additional $800 plus parts and labor before alignment! They said I needed new rocker arms, ball joints and wheel bearings! They said the others were just "shot out"! This did not sound possible because I would have felt that kind of damage when I drove the car

Ivey's Tire Service has been selling tires, changing tires, patching tires, and servicing Milledgeville's tire needs for years; my parents use to always come here when I was a kid if they had a nail in their tire or needed some new tires. After I was old enough to drive I would come here to have my tires plugged when I got a nail in my tire.

I am writing this review for a couple of reasons. First off, I almost didn't use this shop because I saw the previous one star review, and it made me worried. I am glad I got over those worries and got my car fixed here. I had called at least 6 other local auto mechanics, and Ivey's was not only cheapest, but they gave me the quickest estimate on how long it would take. They took my car in that wouldn't start at the beginning of the day, and had it up and running perfectly by the afternoon. I can't recommend this place enough!
