From the moment we first contacted Merita Rice, inquiring about her legal services, we were impressed by her professional and friendly demeanor. We consulted with two other attorneys before approaching Merita, but once we met with her at her office in The Woodlands, there was no doubt in our minds that she was not only highly qualified and experienced, but also had her finger on the pulse regarding all immigrant-related legislation (which seemed at the time to be in a constant state of flux). Merita assisted us in submitting petitions for our parents living abroad to become lawful permanent residents

Merita Rice is the best immigration attorney!
We are very pleased with her assistance, from the beginning of the process, from the first consultation to receiving my mother green card she was amazing! Very professional, her fees are reasonable and she took her time to explain to us every step of the way, guiding and counseling , with no extra charge, and thanks to her we received the permanent residence for my mom in record time even in the middle of the covid 19! (We started with her with the first consultation at the end of February 2020 and in 8 month my mother received her permanent residence

I would like to take this opportunity to say that it was a pleasure working with Merita Rice. I noted a strong focus on professionalism, including an understanding of, and a focus on, the details required to meet our needs in assisting my wife and I for a marriage based permanent resident in which we obtained a conditional 2-year green card this month - it all started back in August 2018.
Merita is a rare individual who has an exceptional focus and took infinite pains to assure that the requirements & practices was being adhered too. I’ve not too often seen this level of focus and detail orientation

Ms. Rice assisted my wife and I for a marriage based permanent resident in which we obtained a conditional 2 year green card. She then helped us again in 2018 for the removal of those conditions, in which we obtained a permanent resident card. Our case was approved ahead of the expected wait time because of her efficiency and clear expectations for the paperwork that we needed. Her instructions were easy to understand so we were never confused at any point in the process. She is always easy to reach through email and quick to respond with any questions we have which simplified the process even

Because of the importance of the preciseness of the immigration process, it was well-worth it to have the peace of mind that she gave us during the entire process. Merita helped me a lot with my immigration visa ( Adjustment of Status to obtain green card). She helped me since the summer of 2016. She was very quick to answer my questions and it was precise.
At the beginning, others did not give a price but she did! Thank you! It's good for my organization.
Furthermore, she gave me a discount after my first meeting with her.
I am pleased with her work!
