Awareness Autism awareness month is here. As I look around at schools or in neighborhoods, I see "Support Autism" signs and homes with blue lights on them. The question I ask myself is, once the month is over what's next for autism? Having a child withspecial needscan be very overwhelming and life can be uncertain. When my son was first diagnosed with Autism, I was so lost and confused as to what will happen to him. If you are having a life threatening emergency, please call 911 or go to your local emergency room.

Brent founded Transitions Counseling in 2006 with the understanding that it is difficult for many clients to come into therapy and find a therapist who can relate to their individual needs. He wanted to create a place where all people could come and feel comfortable and supported.
Brent believes that people are resilient, and have inner strengths that need assistance being supported and tapped into, and that no challenge is too big to be overcome if the client is willing to work at it.
