He started this business in a small single room workshop. Patsy handled his business as he did all aspects of life, with passion, integrity, and devotion.
Today, Formica's is located in the original location in Johnstown, PA covering nearly and entire city block with showrooms, workshops, warehouse, and garages. Patsy started his business to provide a better lifestyle for his young family. After over 30 years of dedication and hard work devoted to the business, the daily operation was put into the hands of his son, Carmen.

We have worked with Carm and his crew on many projects, both large and small, throughout the past 10 years. The quality of his work has always been second to none. Carm is very reliable and also a real problem-solver when faced with a perplexing situation. Let me start by saying this is the second time we have contracted with Formica Kitchen and Design. The first kitchen, was a new build 28 years ago. Fast forward to 2021 . . . needing an update, Carm was honest by saying that my existing wood Coppes cabinets were still solid and in great condition, so with his artistic eye, designed new quartz countertops, under mounted lights, replaced my desk area with a coffee bar/wine bar with custom wine rack, and tied it all together with stone backsplash. Formica Kitchen and staff was prompt with orders, returning phone calls, meticulous with carpentry work
