I love to feel them like you feel the ground on your bare feet. I love to hear the crunch of a forested path on a hike and hear the birds in the morning when the windows are open and the coffee is brewing. I feel coziest outside in my garden or when I'm cuddled in a corner with an old book or a record playing, a cat purring on my lap.
So, you got a new camera for a recent holiday but you're not quite sure how to take good photos in between our sessions? There are soooo many buttons and modes! Months after my son was born, my husband got me a brand new camera and I wanted to take the best photos possible but I had no idea what I was doing at the time.
Not simply because he has an extra chromosome or the words "Down syndrome" on his medical charts. It's because my son forces other people to see him as any other typical kid -- with his awesome baseball hitting or football throwing or his love of gross bugs and underwear-themed TV shows -- you see, he really is just like anyone else.
I know, I know, I know -- you hate the way you look or you want to wait until you lose just 10 more pounds. But, my friend. I always wanted to be a storyteller. I was a Journalism major in college and a newspaper reporter for years out of college. I told stories that made me cry; I shared stories that enraged me; I wrote articles that inspired and celebrated.

The level of communication and clarity has been excellent working with Wendy. We navigated rain, sleet, and cold for a family photo shoot of 8, snd she never blinked at it, just brought her warmth, her Kindness, and professional attitude to every moment.
Throughout the process she was helpful and incredibly responsive.
I would recommend her to any family, to any solo or group event! She is wonderful to work with, and her prices and packaging are affordable with quality results.

This review is long overdo as Wendy took our engagement photos in February 2021, but we had such a memorable experience. Wendy was so easy to work with both on the day of the shoot and leading up to it. She was responsive to emails and even provided her number for easier communication via texting. Wendy’s personality is easy-going and made taking photos fun. We started out feeling awkward, but Wendy quickly had us laughing and genuinely smiling. We also appreciated her approach to “real moments” by offering suggested actions or scenarios as opposed to simply posing us and getting a good shot

I cannot recommend Wendy enough! She has done our family photos twice and we have been impressed each time. She is absolutely fabulous with children and my daughter loved working with her. She talked about her days after we had our pictures taken. It was such a fun, relaxing, and pleasant experience!

Wendy did a phenomenal job with our family photos. She was highly professional, quickly responsive with answering questions, willing to work with us on our schedule as needed (and adjust for potential bad weather which thankfully did not come to fruition), and most importantly she took some amazing pictures which we'll treasure forever.
