Silver Health CARE has provided the highest quality medical care to southwestern New Mexico since 1975 and is generally recognized as one of the premier providers of healthcare in the area. Silver Health CARE's story is one of expansion and growth. Originally founded by Dr. John O. Bell and Dr. Samuel D. Dye in 1975, they were soon joined by Dr. James R. Skee in 1981.
Getting the right history, conducting an appropriately accurate exam, ordering the right labs, and arriving at the right diagnosis and treatment plan is the core of what we do at Silver Health CARE. UTTERLY INCOMPETENT.
It took 3 separate front office workers to spell my first name correctly, despite me telling them how to spell it. My first name is Jonathan. Then I see they have completely botched my mailing address too, so I never received the bill.
They sent me a bill online through the portal with zero details. I asked for an itemized bill and I never heard from them, except they kept sending me the same unitemized bill online.
They offered a 40% discount for new patients paying with cash. Never saw any discount, despite emailing them 4 times about this billing matter.

I was told at the front desk that a first time visit with the nurse practitioner was 120$ without insurance. I received a bill for almost 500$ after my appointment, and the billing office told me there was nothing they can do about other than give me a one-time 44% discount, still totaling over $250. When I spoke to Crystal in billing she patronized me, telling me that I should have waited until my insurance was available to make an appointment. This was after I told her the front desk assured me that the appointment was $120. Then she proceeded to list all of the “reasons” why a $500 bill

So many errors! Takes forever to get a response from PA or her assistant. They have lost forms, dont answer calls or return calls, prescriptions always an issue. I've been with out two critical prescriptions for a week due
to errors made by this clinic. Showed up for a a procedure test only to be told no orders! I have lost trust and am changing to another clinic

I wish I could give 0 stars. I have had zero luck getting ahold of my doctor on several occasions for refills. Office staff is rude and has zero sense of urgency. I would not recommend going here unless you are okay with being put on medication and then going without for weeks at a time.
Edit* - I am very happy to say that they resolved this issue after getting in contact with them, they helped me get my medication even on New Year’s Day and I am very hopeful they are improving their patient services. Thanks again Silver health!

No words can explain the disappointment with the customer service provided at Silver Health/Urgent Care or lack there of! From the secretary who has no personal skills, speaking well with customers or communicating, to the assistant who is in charge of sending out RX Prescriptions to the pharmacy. My son was at Urgent Care since 9:30 a.m., wasn't seen by the doctor until noon, was diagnosed positive with Influenza A (the flu) didn't get out of the doctors until 1:50 p.m. Thereafter, went to pick up RX (Tamiflu) at CVS to find out the prescription was never sent out. Called Urgent care, no answer

Had an urgent care situation, went in holding a compress on a seriously lacerated thumb. Julie, the PA on staff saw me within 5 minutes and did a superb job placing 6 perfect stitches. Silver health care provided outstanding medical treatment and great post treatment instructions. Everyone was professional, kind and compassionate. Ive lived in big cites, suburbs and small towns, I can’t imagine this being done better. This is a small community and we are blessed to have world class care in our midst.

It's hard to find a clinic/doctor who REALLY cares and is not rushing you out of the room. The few times I've been seen the staff was courteous and polite for the most part.
With I'm assuming is a very busy place, rushing is inevitable. I always leave with unanswered questions because of this.
I have debilitating anxiety and finally sought help/ medication for this. Come to find the only drug that helps ease this is a controlled substance.
Without this medication I can't function in a normal day. I am literally stuck at home. I made my Dr. aware of this yet I have had multiple complications
