Our preschool emphasizes the development of the whole child through active learning. We strive for a balanced, nurturing, caring, developmental approach to education for children who are 3, 4, and 5 years old. We believe comprehensive preschool education should be age-appropriate and based on solid child development principles. It should address the child's development in the following areas: social, emotional, physical, cognitive and spiritual.
Services
The 3&4 year olds program focuses on social interactions through learning to play, work and communicate with other children. Through shared reading, group activities and play time, the children are encouraged to cooperate and interact with adults and other children. In addition, they are introduced to content areas such as language and literacy, math and science, health and physical development, social studies and the creative arts.
We are offering early morning drop off at 7:45AM, for families who work at 8AM. Staff will remain with the children until 8:15AM when preschool begins. There is an additional fee of $10/month for the TTH class and $15/month for the MWF class, if utilizing this service. We ask for a semester commitment for this program.
GracePoint Preschool is desiring to hire a part-time director to engage, equip, and empower staff, students, and families to encounter grace, grow in grace, and become grace givers by providing a high quality and accessible Christ-centered education. The Director of GracePoint Preschool provides strategic leadership to GracePoint Preschool under the direct supervision of the GracePoint Preschool Board of Directors.
