Shelby Ramirez has earned her license and board certification in Acupuncture and Herbology from the Acupuncture Board of Arizona.
She received her Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine degree from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco, California, as well as a Master's of Science in Oriental Medicine degree from Dongguk University of Los Angeles, California where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and was honored with the leadership award.

Absolutely loved my visit at Mount Sunny today. Upon entering , Shelby was warm and welcoming and environment felt the same way. Shelby is incredibly knowledgeable and we spoke for about 30 minutes before starting accupuncture so she could learn more about the reason for my visit, lifestyle, any underlying issues, ETC. Once we finished our discussion we proceeded with the accupuncture and I felt very at ease, calm and relaxed. After we completed the accupuncture, Shelby and I discussed a plan of action for future care. Overall, a wonderful experience and I left feeling amazing! Would highly recommend

Shelby made me feel extremely comfortable as she was very nice and knowledgeable. She listened to my complaints and was very gentle. I left Mount Sunny the most relaxed I have ever been in my life. Shelby is always such a pleasure to be around; she is kind and efficient when I visit her at Mount Sunny. I’ve been to a significant amount of TCM spots out in LA and was concerned when I moved to Phoenix that I wouldn’t be able to find an acupuncture and cupping spot that knew what they were doing. I had never done acupuncture before, but Shelby and Spencer made it such a tranquil and enchanting experience. I was encouraged to come in early and enjoy the space (so glad I did), and then sat with Shelby to talk through my health and lifestyle. I targeted my upper back and legs with acupuncture and cupping, and the increase in blood flow and overall ease of tension was incredible and immediately effective.
While there are probably cheaper acupuncturists in Phoenix, the value in being in this healing and visually soothing space with an intimate and hospitable approach is undeniable. Definitely

Mount Sunny is my favorite place! Phoenix is so lucky to have a wellness spot like this. The decor is beautiful and you'll finally instantly calmer just walking in.The music transports you to another realm. Getting a treatment is the most incredible experience I have ever had and I felt a million times better upon leaving. Shelby has the softest touch and I didn't feel any pain at all. I recommend cupping and acupuncture together.

Shelby is a top notch acupuncturist and healer. She is amazing with her cupping skills and has a gentle touch with her acupuncture. I recommend for ya'll to go see her to help resolve stress issues, pain, allergies and general well being. Went to Mount Sunny's grand opening and was immediately impressed with the feel of staff and the space. It is a very welcoming environment. With Spencer and Shelby, I felt comfortable right away.

I first met the owners before they opened Mount Sunny, a friend recommended Cupping and Acupuncture for pain relief. Since "traditional" treatments had been moderately successful, I decided to give Cupping and Acupuncture a try. I was recommended to Dongguk University in LA, which is where I saw Shelby for my first treatment. I was skeptical, but Shelby's Professional and caring demeanor put me at ease. I could not believe the amount of pain relief the treatment delivered. I was pain free for the first time in a long time!
