Services
Rui and I have been photographing people in love for 10 years. You can usually find us barefooted at the beach, reading a good book, or being wonderfully weird and gathering with our family. Of course, when we are not doing any of that, we are third-wheeling with couples, camera in hand. One of the biggest benefits we love about being a husband and wife team is that together, we can best serve our couples.
Our photo sessions include a downloadable edited image gallery with the option to order prints a la carte. Once you reserve your date we will send you our client guide which includes our favorite locations with all the amenities they offer. We love telling stories and want to document all the goofy laugh out moments set against stunning Hawaiian backdrops.
Mini sessions are a great way to document small families or couples who only need a few beautiful images to look back on. This is our most popular session. Our sessions are fun and carefree, where we get a mix of portraits and candid natural moments while playing in the water and sand. We do our best to keep your little ones engaged and happy so everyone can have a fun and relaxed time during your session!

We had a fun family photo session with Marissa in big island. I can't express how amazing Marissa was with everything. She made my family including my son who is 20months old feel very comfortable and special. Plus, We LOVE our photos!!! we will definetely work with her in the future. Marissa is the BEST! We had a huge family reunion and wanted to capture a family photo, and Marissa came right to our location, and photographed beautiful shots and a group photo with more than 35 people, with kids ages 1-16! She did a fantastic job and I would use her again in a heartbeat! Photos came out stunning, and turnaround time was quick, too! She and her husband are kind and so great to work with! We’re so happy with our results!

Can't say enough about Marissa and Rui! They were very professional, everything was very well organized beforehand and they helped us pick the most perfect location. Photographers in Hawaii exceeded our expectations! My husband and I wanted to book professional pictures for our vacation to The Big Island to have something to always remember it by and we were blown away. Marissa and Rui were kind, professional, and quick to respond. Rui took our photos and he didn’t focus on the traditional poses he focused more on the candid personal moments and they really shined through. He also stayed back afterwards and gave us recommendations on things to do and places to eat on the island. Take our word for it and book with this great team. You won’t be disappointed

Marissa was absolutely a dream to work with! It started when we decided to book a session at the last minutes, she worked with my schedule and got my family in within 12 hours. My one-year-old daughter was in an awful mood during the session and Marissa worked so hard to get a smile out of her. Not only was she great to work with, her skills are second to none. The photos she took of our family are beautiful! Beyond that, she allows you to choose the photos you buy, that way you are only paying for the photos you feel are the best of your family. Marissa is the best!! She was very responsive when I reached out last minute before our trip and was able to accommodate us during our stay. She met us at our hotel at sunset and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera! We had such a fun time taking photos and loved that Marissa was able to capture such beautiful amazing images of our vacation. Definitely recommend!!!!

We had the pleasure of working with Marissa. She was great! I told her we don't know what we are doing and she coached us right a long, even had examples so we had a better idea of how to pose. She knows how each location works, like the lighting and weather. We chose the 6 people or less package. My husband and I first did a couples session. We laughed a lot. Then we had a couple group photos of all of us who came, to witness our renewal. The other 2 couples were able to get a couple private photos together. I really love how she captures the moment and the lighting 💜Marissa is a great photographer
