A brief description of the types of lenses and variety of frames available at Christopher J Nowik OD, PC. Selecting your lenses and frames is a very personal choice. A wide variety of options are available that can be tailored to suit not only your medical needs but also your fashion preferences. Highlight your features, play with color, and augment vision for different functions such as reading, driving, computer work and playing sports.
There are a number of reasons why you might prefer contact lenses to standard eyewear: a glasses-free look, hassle-free vision correction, wearing non-prescription sunwear and goggles, or the convenience of not having to worry about misplacing your glasses. If you have a high prescription or astigmatism, contact lenses may provide more enhanced vision correction than glasses.
Christopher J Nowik OD, PC provides evaluation, consultation and referrals for these common vision correction surgeries and procedures. Vision correction is a general term used to describe a variety of optometric techniques for correcting less-than-perfect vision. For your convenience, we have included a brief description of some of the most common vision correction procedures offered at our office in Bangor.

I am so grateful for the professional, caring and kind staff of Dr. Nowik’s office. Time is taken, questions are answered and genuine concern is always felt by all who enter their door. Never a number and always known by name I know my sight is in good hands. I am thankful they are located in the Slate Belt!

As always perfect. And thank you for continuing to take safety precautions against covid. I think it's a good idea that the paper you fill out asks if your vaccinated or not. It's the doctors right to know for your records. I think all medical facilities should continue the masking practice. People go to a doctor when they feel sick they sit in the waiting room with other sick and non sick patients. Good reason to keep the mask mandate even after things get back to normal. When ever that is.
