I'll play music for you and your friends for up to 7 hours. I have overhead dance floor lighting and a speaker system that is scalable depending on guests/room size (from 100 to 450 people). I'll gladly play any/all requests from guests (unless the song is on your DO NOT PLAY list). I'll announce you and your bridal party with a custom introduction to 1 or more songs of your choice.
Sometimes I'll play a clip from a song for the parents, then another song for the bridal party, then a special song for the bride and groom (my favorite has been a couple that came in to the 1990's Chicago Bulls intro!) I'll provide you with a detailed sample timeline that you can customize to fit your reception needs.

Services
When you book your date with me, I'll share a "starter" reception timeline with you via Google Docs. You can start making it your own with your songs and your moments (cake cutting, anniversary dance, etc.) as soon as you'd like. I'll email you 2 months before your date to schedule a time for you to walk me through your ideas, go over your timeline, and talk music.
Make sure the bride has a pair of good dancing shoes waiting for her at the reception venue. Unless you have a sheet cake that can be cut ahead of time, don't wait until after dinner to cut the cake. Cut it soon after your entrance to give the caterers time to prep it for your guests. That way there won't be a big lull between dinner and dessert.

We had Adam DJ our wedding, and we would recommend him to anyone! He took the time to talk to us a few different times before the wedding to make sure he knew exactly what kind of music we wanted played during every event of our wedding. Adam made everything feel personal… he had our guests clap to our entrance song, played a song my grandpa requested so he could dance with me, and played games to keep kids entertained. Adam was the DJ for our wedding and reception this past weekend and we could not be happier! He is very outgoing and personable. He had a zoom meeting with us a few weeks before the wedding to go over all of our ideas and offer suggestions where needed. He went above and beyond for us. We booked Adam for our wedding and couldn't be more thrilled with his outstanding performance! He was by FAR the MOST organized person we worked with throughout our whole wedding planning. He even meet with us via video and we worked on a google doc together to get a timeline down and songs ready. Adam DJed my sister's wedding a couple months ago and did an absolutely amazing job. He is genuine, entertaining, and very funny. As the maid of honor, I appreciated how well he attended to the desires of the bride and groom.
