Diversified Technique (DT) is a chiropractic adjustment or spinal manipulation technique used by the majority of chiropractors. It is known as one of the most common adjustment techniques and used to restore proper alignment and movement in the spine and joints.
A chiropractor will make low-amplitude, high-velocity thrusts (using their hands or sometimes a table or block) to the spine, restoring the bio-mechanical function and correcting any subluxations.A subluxation is a slight misalignment of the vertebrae, regarded in most chiropractic theory as the cause of many health problems throughout the body.

Just like people, animals may experience back pain, or need to seek out chiropractic care for more energy, improved sports or work performance, for better resistance to disease, and to help insure a drug-less life.Equine chiropractic care deals with the nervous system, removing interference and correcting vertebral and joint subluxations.

First and foremost, animal chiropractic care is not intended to replace traditional veterinary medicine. Complementary care is a type of care that works with your veterinarian and certainly not instead of them. The professional animal chiropractor should seek cooperation and perhaps even permission and/or assistance from the primary care physician, the veterinarian.
We understand that illness, emergencies, flat tires, and bad weather do occur. We ask our patients to give us 48 hours' notice whenever possible, if they cannot keep an appointment. Stephanie is amazing. She does a thorough examinations up front, clearly explains what is going on and walks you through and emails you stretches to do in between adjustments. She does all types of adjustments, even near the back legs of our moody mare who likes to kick. But she’s also safe and makes sure to protect herself, the horse and anyone nearby. Her goal is also to get the horse to a place where less frequent adjustments are needed, which is where we are with our mare now. She also shows up on time and doesn’t take longer than necessary. Can’t say enough good things about her.

I was skeptical. I had never been to a chiropractor before. My physical therapist recommended I give it a try though. The owner of Walks of Life seemed genuine and very knowledgeable.
Wow! I've had back and shoulder pain for 3 years. One session and it was gone I an't believe it. Next up, take mu elderly upper in for an adjustment.

I have never had my horse have a chiropractic adjust. My friend invited me to come to her place to try it. Stephanie said he was off in the left hip and other places on him then adjusted him. I then told her my shoer had asked me if he was limping or had a problem with his left hip, because he was dragging his left toe. She had found that there was something off in that hip.I didn’t ride him for a couple days. Then rode him about 12 miles. He was full of it. Like a younger horse. He is 24yrs old. I think the chiropractic adjustment was good for him. I will be using her again. Great job!

Just had my first visit/adjustment with Dr. Parent. She was incredibly professional and explained every step of the chiropractic process. Her prices are beyond reasonable. I will definitely be a return customer, and be recommending her to anybody else in my life who may be needing chiropractic care.

Dr. Parent is wonderful! She is thorough, professional, caring, unhurried, she explains all adjustments and methods thoroughly. She is very accommodating! I have had several adjustments and feel great. And my dog Haley feels very good after hers as well! A bonus - she is VERY reasonably priced. We are so blessed to have her nearby and all of us will be her clients for years to come.
