Whiting Family Dental

I was a regular patient of Dr. Rob in Apple Valley. I am normally terrified of going to the dentist, even for a routine check up or cleaning. I recently moved to Alaska. Yes, Dr. Rob. I visited in 2019 when I retired. I did a lot more traveling in 2020. A job offer came my way from Valdez at Thanksgiving and I was here in January, sight unseen. I miss your practice and the care you took when treating me. Thank you for you have done and all you will do to help your patients. I hope you continue to enjoy all you do!

I cannot say enough how much I love the care my entire family gets here! My daughter is 6 and has had 3 different procedures in the last year and each time leaves in the best spirits and never leaves scared or dreading to go back! From the moment of check in until we check out we all receive the best care!

Saw Dr Scott to get a my wisdom teeth removed. Initial impression was fine, although he seems rushed through my appt. came in the following day for surgery, where he rushed through my procedure, saw other clients while I waited, and yelled at me to open! Loudly while I was sedated. He was abrasive, rude and condescending when an we had an issue with one of my teeth. I am very disappointed in the service I received here & would not recommend it.

For DR. ROB and his Team...This was "the" most amazing experience i have ever had at a dentist. i highly recommend this dentist great vibe. friendly personal and dr. rob, is awesome way different techniques then traditional dentist, he insures, comfort, numbness, "no pain", that's the truth. i can't wait for my next visit and all of my family and friends to experience what i have just experienced... new member. thank you for the experience, dr. rob and all the ladies. from, adrian lujan/lujan family...

What a great dental office. From the front desk ladies to the Dr., they are friendly and go out of their way to make your appt. as pleasant as possible. The most painless experiences I've ever had. Really glad I chose them.

I have a history of dental issues and I’ve received lectures from dentists about how I must not take care of my teeth (I do). Whiting Dental was the first place that I received no judgement, only care. GREAT… CARE! The entire office makes you feel welcome and comfortable. I highly recommend them, especially for anyone with a negative dental history.

Dr. Rob and Dr. Scott are some of the world's greatest dentist's! They will treat you in the same manor that they would treat their own family members... there are variables and ultimately all the decisions of what treatment you choose, is up to you. You will be WELL informed, with multiple options given to you. You'll be treated with kindness, understanding, and professionalism. If you want to be treated by someone who is honest and does quality work... THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! Just some genuine human beings, who really want to help others. I love the entire staff! ♥

Just finished with my first visit that included X-rays, cleaning and preparation for a crown. I had a great first date with Whiting Dental and will continue coming for all my dental care.

Just started seeing the folks over at Whiting and they are all so amazing! First time there I had my teenage daughter seen for a regular checkup. The nurses were so kind and friendly. Very helpful and didn't mind answering any questions or concerns we had. Described the basic procedures thoroughly so nobody was surprised. The dentist was great - very sociable which helped make my kid, and myself, be more at ease. I'll be going back to get some work done for myself and eventually I'll get my husband in as well. Great people, great work.

I absolutely love this office! Dr. Scott and Dr. Rob are absolutely amazing! The staff is always very welcoming and friendly! Both Drs are wonderful with children too! I can't not recommend them enough! Thank you all for such great care!

The best dentist and staff around, I hate dentist and have had previous horrible experiences but here I was taken care of and they were so amazing. I'll never go to another dentist

Not a great experience, started out with the dentist else where and loved him, but the busier they get the less they seem to care. Had a few issues with billing, and when I asked to speak to a supervisor the woman replied, "I run this office, I don't know what to tell you." Again love the dentist, so I thought I'd try to get my kids in with him. Not a great atmosphere for kids who are unsure. We have decided to try someone knew. I'd advise a second opinion for everyone.

The people that work here are very friendly but you have to wait hours beyond your appointment time to be seen. The first time I had an appointment and I sat waiting for over an hour to be seen. The dentist promptly apologized and said that they had an emergency that morning.
This time the appointment was for my son. His appointment was at noon. We arrived between 1135-1145. He was not seen until after 1:00pm. Again I was advised that they had an emergency that morning. The dentist did not mind that we have decided to take our business elsewhere. So don't come here looking for punctuality

Dr. Whiting is the best dentist. Every time he cleans my teeth he is so good. I really like that he knows his stuff, and sometimes I have questions about different things that i should do or not do to my mouth and teeth, he helps me with the knowledge of what to do to make the correct decision that was best for me not just to make him money. I would recommend this dentist to anyone.
