I graduated from Centennial High School and completed my B.S. in Marketing at St. Cloud State University. Afterwards, I worked in corporate business development for UPS for several years and then started a division at a smaller business. During that time, I developed an interest in photography after I met a professional wedding and portrait photographer who spent an incredible amount of time mentoring me.
I have since photographed numerous weddings and portrait/family sessions. I was at a good friend's wedding and the photographers had a 10-hour time limit. Just before the first dance, the photographers bailed because time was up. I will be with you from the agreed start time to the end of the most important parts of your wedding day.

Mike did an INCREDIBLE job at our wedding on April 23rd. He literally went over and beyond our expectations. From the second we worked with him on our engagement pictures, we built a relationship with him. Which made is easy for our wedding day, he knew us and knew how to work with us! He works with you on prepping for the day of pictures and getting everything organized. He worked perfectly with our families and wedding party! He surely out did himself!! I'm a bit late in getting this up, but I know I rely on reviews, so wanted to still add mine. Michael shot my husband's and my engagement and wedding pictures in Sept 2019. His use of light and space is perfect. His ability to pull in the site where we got married in a beautiful way made me so glad. Michael told the story of our wedding in his photographs. He was a great guy to work with, responsive, and asked about my priorities. It was a great experience and I have hundreds of stunning pictures. I couldn't be any happier. Thanks, Michael.

Trying to find a photographer for our wedding was a lot of headaches until we found Mike. He was very professional and made us comfortable with the process right away plus he is very reasonably priced. We just had our engagement photos yesterday and they look amazing. Can't wait to see what he's does at the wedding. Would recommend Mike vonwald photography to anyone!
