Services
We are a small firm that capitalizes on our extensive knowledge of science and our familiarity with local government officials to provide efficient and in-depth professional service to our clients. We have been in business serving Connecticut and Westchester County, NY since 1999. We are highly experienced soil scientists, ecologists, and environmental planners.
Ecological Evaluations by Trained Ecologists, Physical Scientists, and Ecological Designers. We are trained ecologists, physical scientists, and ecological designers who have decades of combined experience in ecological evaluation. Our mission is to make our useful ecological services widely available to the greater community.
Sometimes wetland areas are disturbed. This may include the removal of trees and other vegetation, and sometimes fill or soil has been placed in the wetland area. We have extensive experience working with landowners and local officials to resolve these sensitive issues. A tailored plan that addresses the scale of the disturbance and complies with wetland regulations.
Knowing whether a wetland is present on a residential or commercial property is very important to your clients. In fact, the presence of wetlands can directly influence the potential for the buyer to use the land. However, according to Connecticut state law, only a soil scientist can determine where a wetland exists.
Local wetland regulations can be complex and confusing. Our goal is to make the process much easier, and to help you navigate through the maze of codes and regulations to secure the permits needed to start your project. Do you have questions about wetlands? We can assist with a variety of wetland-related questions and provide dependable and accurate information.
