***Stealing credit card numbers!***
Ordered parts from them using a unique virtual credit card number in November 2021, one week later notified that that card had been fraudulently used. It was literally a week old credit card number and only used at this one company. I see another review saying the same thing in the past month. Someone at this company is stealing credit card numbers. Beware!

Incredibly happy with my experience! Needed a screen for a very old ThinkPad, found one here. Did not receive a confirmation email, but the screen showed up on the porch a few days later in original IBM packaging and works flawlessly. A direct substitute part number for the original. Thanks all involved!

This company tries to sell you parts they do not actually have. Please, if you're thinking about ordering from them, read the other negative reviews that say similar things (trying to pass off parts as others, etc).
Even though I saw the other reviews, I decided to take a chance because it was the only store that still had a part available while all other stores said it was discontinued. Three days after I put in the online order on October 12th and was quoted that it should arrive in late October, I was sent an 'update' that it needed to ship from their supplier and would be shipped on November

My card was compromised twice, both after ordering parts from this company.
The support rep I spoke to via live chat also told me they just sit behind cubicles and couldn't help me. The first and last time I will use this sad excuse for a vendor. 1 star is too good for them.

I have had a great experience coming here and recommend for any laptop repairs or issues. My old laptop was damaged and he told me the repair was worth more than the price of the laptop and that he would buy my old laptop from me if I got a new one, and I ended up buying a new laptop and selling him my old one. Very fair price and great customer service!

I've increased the rating due to a phone call from Jose Nunez at Impact. He was very professional and understanding and did his best to remedy the situation, however I won't order again from this site. The gentlemen that run this business - and I do mean gentlemen - are fantastic. They were kind and informative and very helpful. I came in needing data transferred from one external hard drive (that I thought was faulty) to another new one. About 1/2 hour later, they called and said both were fine and that I could save myself the money by transferring the data myself. That's unheard of in today's world - where a business actually looks out for their customer.
And on my way out, I looked around at some of their refurbished computers and wow, the prices are amazing.

Craig is a good guy running a good business. He's helped me fix a few things, charging me a fair price for help and giving great advice for free. I wish I had a mechanic for my car that I trust like Craig for my computer. Based on 2-3 visits here for various things, I would never visit another computer repair business in Gainesville, and I'm already sad to lose Craig access when I eventually move. I order one wireless card, they sent me another one, as they mention on the web page, will ship something similar. in this case was a mistake, I was looking for a dual band wireless card and they sent me single band. Still the card was good and compatible with my Lenovo laptop.
I contacted them, direct and via Paypal, we straight up the mistake they refund in full! my order and I had to keep the card they sent me.
Again went back and order another possible card, that they had in stock and compatible with my laptop. (Lenovo T540p). exchange couple of email before I order

Canadian Customer: I needed a replacement monitor for an old laptop couldn't locate one in Canada at a reasonable price. Impact Computers & Electronics had a reconditioned one for less than US$100. I read some worrying reviews online but also some considered and detailed positive ones and decided to try. Ralph and the team at Impact Computers were incredible. I placed an order and quickly received an update and check in from their team. A few days later I received another update while their business was stuck waiting for a new shipment of batteries to arrive. They gave me options and reordered for me when the new batteries came in. Needed a LCD that we couldn't find anywhere. Impact Computers & Electronics had what we needed for a great price. Shipped and arrived extremely fast and well packed. These people are lifesavers. I had a horribly tight deadline back in May of this year and of course you know what happens, my hard drive decides to die on me right before it's due. And because of the time crunch I had not backed things up as I should have. I called to beg for help with a horribly desperate voice and they told me to bring it over. They were able to save my data and after asking a few questions about how I use my computer, found me an affordable replacement computer so I didn't have to go try to sort out what machine I needed to replace my dead computer. I spilled water on my Macbook pro - surprisingly everything on the computer was running just fine except for the headphone jack - as water had gotten in there too. I took my computer to Impact immediately to try to replace a part or see what i could do about the broken sound. They recommended I turn my computer completely off for 2 days, and if nothing was fixed, come back to see them. I was shocked when I turned my computer on two days later and the speakers worked again! I will be going to Impact Computers for any future tech needs. Thank you!

My computer randomly wouldn't turn on the other day so I decided to Google some Computer Repair shops around town. After calling a shop that couldn't fix my computer they actually recommended Impact Computers to me. I called the shop and spoke to Craig who invited me to come in. Inside the shop was David (I believe that was his name) who greeted me extremely friendly. He took a look at my computer and discovered that there was actually no problem at all. I haven't patronized this business, just contacted them via telephone a few times. Each time, Craig took time to answer my (newbie) questions and make recommendations when I asked for them. Because of that, I was able to remove and install a new hard-drive myself and get my computer up and running again. Although he may have lost a sale or repair charge, he gained a customer and good public relations.

Had a computer with a broken CPU on it. I had the new part, but got a little gun shy and didn't really want foo with it (it was my fault the CPU broke in the first place).
I stopped in and Craig gladly installed the new CPU for me and didn't charge a thing for it. It was refreshing to actually see someone that wanted to be helpful....much appreciated!
Next time anything tech related comes up -- I'll be giving Craig a call.

This place is a joke & a bunch of crooks!
I took my laptop here for a quick diagnostic because it would no longer power on. After not hearing back from anyone for a few days I decided to go in person and inquire about the analysis. When I brought my work-order ticket in the employee behind the counter said it was not back in the workroom.
"Uhhh, okay - what do you mean it's 'not there?!?' I just brought it in 3 days ago"
"It may have been moved to our Newberry location, try there" (I guess calling for me was too much to ask).
I drove across town
