As a prequel to divorce, Kiswani Law understands the sensitivity and the hardship a couple faces when they are uncertain of the future of their marriage and family. Legal Separation does not automatically lead to a divorce, but parties can obtain marital support, child support, custody and the ability to manage their properties independent of the other during their legal separation.
Mervate Mohammad graduated with a Cume Laude and Honors from Loyola University of Chicago with a Bachelor's Degree in History and Political Science and a double minor in Islamic World Studies and International Studies. Mervate earned her Juris Doctorate Degree at the John Marshall Law School, is licensed to practice in Illinois and has earned her Federal General Bar admission to the Northern District of Illinois Supreme Court.
Stephanie Gilbert has always wanted to work as a lawyer helping her community. She has worked towards this goal long before law school by serving in the University of Illinois Pre-Law Club. Stephanie went on to graduate from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. This gives her a unique ability to empathize with her clients with the goal of minimizing the trauma of divorce and child custody proceedings.

I met Mervate around 2015. I called tons of lawyers and they all were blood hounds and scammers, promising the world and not bringing answers. Don't fall for any scam attorney cause they are on the tv or radio or magazine or bilboard. I promise you, you will pay up the wazoo!
