Downtown Catering Company is an award-winning catering service that has been servicing Hilton Head Island, Bluffton, Beaufort, South Carolina, as well as Savannah and Augusta, Georgia for over seventeen years. We cater for social and corporate events as well as offer Private Chef Services and Golf Tournament Catering.
Our venue includes round tables and natural padded chairs for up to 125 guests with house white linens, 6-cocktail tables with house white linens, Sonos surround speaker system, lounge seating, and banquet tables. Our space also includes a stunning lush private garden courtyard with hanging cafe lighting suitable for a wedding ceremony or cocktail party!

I have had many experiences at Venue 1223 and the catering side to make a credible review. Both at the Venue and outside to other locations, when Downtown Catering was part of it, the food, service and overall experience was A+. Most recently I used them for my daughters wedding. They went above and beyond, starting with a sit down to go over what they expected and most importantly wanted to know what I expected. The communication was on point, and using Maren as the wedding planner made everything go smoothly. I would recommend not only the catering side, but also consider the actual Venue 1223

I am a wedding Officiant with A Wedding By The Sea and have done 923 weddings over the last 25 years and have always found Leah McCarthy and DownTown Catering to be 5 stars on their professionalism, responses as well as their staff and food. There isn’t enough space to write each and every way that DTC made our wedding incredible. From the first moment when my husband, daughter, parents and I were hosted for a tasting to the ease of communication and planning to the execution on our wedding day. Seamless perfection. It has been just over and year and I still cannot count the number of friends who talk about the food at the wedding. We had a small intimate 42 person event and everyone was treated with kit gloves.
