Private 1-on-1 makeup lesson with one of the Chic Studios lead instructors, and customized to what YOU want to learn! Makeup On Self: If you are looking to update your own look, learn how to create a fresh full glam for a client, master a smokey eye, false eyelash application, airbrush makeup. You name it, we've got you!
Our online Professional course is approximately 3 weeks, (12-15 hours per week) Each level includes: 2 online, in-person classes, with on-demand videos, video lessons, and course material + notes. Module 1: History of Makeup, Skin Philosophy, Skin Care Ingredients, Anatomy of the Face, Hygiene, Prepping the Skin + How to Clean Brushes, Color Theory, Color Correcting, Foundation Testing, Types of Foundations and Product Knowledge.
2.5 hours of Powerful, Information-Packed Social Media Content, Tips, and Everything you need to know about becoming an Influencer and being seen on Social media. In this on-demand [online] course, you dive into social media, branding yourself, content creation, how to market yourself online through the top social media channels like Instagram and YouTube, all within the first few minutes.

Love this school ! A lot of people think that by learning on YouTube , they automatically know all the tricks. However, that is far from the truth. A lot of students here learn directly from Professionals in the industry. They have a Payment plan , and they also are very flexible with your learning speed. Best decision I ever made regarding my makeup artist career. Definitely recommend.

1 male teacher blasted me in from of classmates about an email i sent to Amy in front of class. Amy is not the one viewng her emails. The instructor even stated that amy was a robot that is never truly present. Im was shocked perplexed and embarrassed no professional should blast you for a confidential email in front of students. just not right. certificate is useful but its a private company that benefits from tourists and foreigners!

I went to Chic Studios a few years ago before COVID & all I have to say is , it was one of the best things I did to commence my makeup journey! Before attending chic , I had some experience with makeup but as soon as I finished chic, I felt so much more confident about my work! The teachers were great & it really has one of the best prices in NYC you can’t beat. Overall ; I highly recommend :)

The instructors at chic are very educated and skilled artists who have worked with celebrities, fashion week, and basically all areas. They are super fun and friendly and the learning experience reflects that. I personally learned so much taking their makeup course and would 100% recommend it to a friend!

One of the best investments I've ever made! Chic offers more affordable options compared to other makeup schools & makes sure students get all they can out of the courses. The instuctors do a great job teaching advanced techniques, hygiene practices, industry standards, & important business aspects that one wouldn't learn (or learn as quickly) as a self-taught artist, or what you can't learn from YouTube. I also appreciate being able to pick the instructors' brains & learn more about what they know (as working artists) was most important for students to understand in the business & industry overall
