I checked reviews b4 I stopped here but still didn't turn out for the best.. they didn't have the hitch but they could do the wiring so I went somewhere else to get the hitch installed, came back for the wiring that I had to drop off for. Was told 200 so I was expecting their best work to come back and pay a 100 with all the wires cut in and taped.. trailer run/brake lights don't work. I was expecting everything to be plugged instead of cut in, there's no converter. So I got to get it redone which will cost more due to all the cut in wires

April 2021 I bought a 2015 Ford Edge. While it had a hitch, there was no trailer wiring. Weld-Rite was quick, affordable and professional installing the wiring. I recently (12/29/2021) noticed a problem with my trailer lights and brought the car back in. The Power Module was malfunctioning. They replaced it at no charge same day. Could not ask for better service.

Needing a hitch to transport bikes for a last minute drive up North, it was difficult to find someone who had the hitch AND get me in the next day - Weld-Rite came shining through! Not only was able to install the hitch the next day, but price was slightly lower than others. Strongly suggest if you need a hitch install...do it right...get it done by Weld-Rite.

Jimmy, the owner is wonderful. My Sister and I purchased a boat and needed a trailer hitch installed. We had it installed and went to take delivery of the boat; however we couldn't because the blinkers and brake lights did not work. So we drove back to get them fixed at closing time. They dropped everything and fixed the lights So we could take delivery of our new boat. The reason the lights didn't work was due to my Sister - she pulled the wiring loose when she was shifting some items around in back of SUV. Jimmy apologized that we had to drive back and gave us 2 locks for our trailer

From the great reviews, I was looking forward to having them install a hitch on my SUV. I live in St. Pete so I was hoping to discuss the work over the phone before driving over. I called twice with no answer so I left two voice messages. No call back. I even used their contact form on their website and still no call back. That's no way to run a business.

Jimmy at Weld-Rite was able to quickly and accurately troubleshoot and repair an issue I had with the trailer light connections on my tow vehicle. Totally awesome ! My trailer bearings on one side of my trailer completely froze up !
Jimmy was great and explained how I could do a home repair so I could get my trailer to Weld Rite to repair the other side. I also purchased new radial tires at a good price. They are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They are all hard working and no nonsense. I would recommend Weld Rite for trailer work, hitch installation without hesitation !!

The guys are fair and honest and don't try to jam you up. Very helpful and knowledgeable. I went to pick up my trailer in not my usual truck which wasn't wired correctly. I'm sure most shops would have said "ok see you when you get back with the other truck!" Not here...a few minutes later I was on the road with a home made adapter. I was blown away by the level of customer service from this place in this day and age.

Weld Rite Hitch was referred to me by University Bicycle Center. I called to ask about their service and made an appointment. I went in today to have the hitch put on my car and was very pleased. They were all very friendly and professional and started my car immediately. I would recommend this company to anyone in search of a car or truck hitch.
