Having a great team is a huge part of making sure people feel happy, respected, and appreciated. Our team is dead set on overdelivering. We make sure to prove how much we care to our patients and their families. Our patients want to be known and listened to by their orthodontic team. That's what this group is all about - taking the time to actually know about our patient's lives.
The answer is simple. We recognize that paying for orthodontic treatment is something people are concerned about. It can be stressful! Our goal is to remove stress by letting our patients customize almost everything. Paying for braces shouldn't be complicated or confusing. We put you in control by offering better flexibility, better terms, and an overall better experience.
Smiles can be contagious and thanks to Dr. McMurphy and his staff, I share my smile every day! So thankful for my great experience!. One of the main things that are important to me is that people have an amazing experience while they are in braces. We want to move away from those old ideas of how orthodontics works.
It is usually difficult for you to determine if treatment is necessary because there are many problems that can occur even though the front teeth look straight. Also, there are some problems that look intimidating and complex which will resolve on their own. Asking your general dentist is good reference, but we are your best resource since orthodontics is all we do.
After coming to the harsh realization that becoming a professional turkey hunter wasn't in the cards, I turned my attention to an equally noble task - straightening people's teeth. Getting to serve this community as a doctor is something I've always wanted to do. We now make our home in Daphne with my wife Appie and growing family.

McMurphy Orthodontics has such a welcoming, friendly environment! The office is beautiful with an amazing waiting area that even provides IPads for children to play games while waiting. However, we never wait long while there - The staff is always well-prepared, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly! They get you in and out in no time, and most importantly, we are very happy with our results! Our family cannot recommend them enough!

I was one of Dr. McMurphy's very first patients when he opened his practice. Although I am much older than the typical patient, I always felt at ease and comfortable with all the procedures. He truly is an artist who can envision how the teeth and jaw can and should look. He has also seen my children and grandchildren and relates well to all ages.

Myself and 2 of my children are patients of Dr. McMurphy and we have had the best experience! The team is so helpful, honest, and caring! We have a special needs child and they are wonderful with her and suggested the best solutions for her situation. My sons teeth look great and I am very happy with my teeth too!

My son had the very BEST experience at McMurphy Orthodontics. Extremely helpful and accessible staff, amazing orthodontist and warm, friendly environment. He unfortunately inherited my teeth, but I was never able to have braces until I was 30, so I knew having a presentable, beautiful smile was extremely important. And it was extremely important to give this to my son as soon as possible. It’s boosted his confidence—as I knew it would—and the straight teeth have made such a difference. Thanks to Dr. McMurphy and just amazing staff, my son has chosen the dental/orthodontics field as his future

First of all I wish I could give Dr.McMurphy 100 stars. Dr. Mac and his staff are absolutely wonderful! There are truly too many good things to say about his practice to even mention. He is treating 3 of my sons and all of them love him and his staff as well. One of my sons, who is 13, has Autism; I was really nervous about how he was going to react to all of the treatment and procedures he was going to have to undergo. I honestly couldn't imagine taking him to anyone else. They are absolutely wonderful with him and he actually looks forward to his dental visits. My other 2 boys are 14 and 10.

Absolutely Thrilled with our daughters teeth! Dr.Hicks was always inviting and very informative throughout the entire 3 year process! Couldn't have had a better experience anywhere else,hands down the best… Orthodontist EVER!!! All of the staff there were always kind,courteous and very helpful,we never once had an issue with scheduling,appointments or problems with the dental assistants that worked there. I truly loved the fact that through the entire process over the years,we always dealt with the same familar faces kindly greeting/assisting us when we came in or called. I truly cannot
