For over 60 years, the corner of West Prairie Street and Boulevard served the village of Vicksburg as a car dealership and a landmark. Ask anyone in our small town for directions and they still might include the phrase "cross the tracks and turn at the old car dealership."
Generations of families have visited this building to buy their first car or to get their oil changed, but after being a part of the community for over half a century, the dealership moved.The building laid vacant for several years and our father, Dan Oswalt, went from thinking "someone should do something to that old building" to "we should do something."

Our West Michigan Wedding Venue is the spot to say "I Do. " If you are seeking a unique, indoor wedding venue where the ceremony and reception happen all in one place, you've found it. Start your forever together in our one-of-a-kind industrial chapel and then move down the hall to our main space to celebrate and dance underneath the chandeliers and string lights.
You don't have to wait to see if your date is available. We will update after every booking, so check back often. Please keep in mind, by the time you tour our venue, our availability may change, as we cannot hold a date for your wedding or event without a signed contract and deposit. If your date is not available, we will be happy to work with you to see if another date will work.

R&R exceeded every expectation that my husband and I had. We had SO many people that attended our wedding give compliments on how beautiful the whole venue is. The ceremony space, the reception space and both of the get ready rooms are STUNNING and so perfect for pictures. The decoration closet made planning and decorating SO much easier and cheaper! The staff is so helpful and responds so quickly to every question. Growing up I always wanted to get married in a barn. Being a farm girl, that is where I spent a lot of my time. Also always imagined pews in our ceremony area, but not necessarily in a church. I had so many ideas, and they didn’t necessarily all mesh together, but clearly they do!
R&R had it all! The rustic barn vibe in the reception area, and the beautiful pews in the ceremony spot.
Those exposed ducts/piping on the ceilings add that relaxed, old school, fun vibe.

Highly recommend this venue in small town Vicksburg! The venue is stunning and doesn’t need much to decorate it! The venue also comes with a free decor closet which you can pick out and use their decorations for free! Not only is it a beautiful space, the workers are amazing! Katie is so responsive over email, always answering questions and offering up suggestions! They create a full digital planner for you that will help you stay on track from the big details to the small ones! She works behind the scenes on the day of the event and makes everything flow seamlessly by problem solving along the

R&R was absolutely amazing to work with! We loved the large space with the ability to have the separate space for the ceremony and the reception. The extensive decor closet was so nice to have as it allowed us to save some money in our budget that we used for other things.
We originally had a guest list of 280 people but because of COVID that was quickly condensed to immediate family and bridal party. They were very flexible with options in what to do with COVID. In Michigan, the COVID restrictions were changing every day, Katie and Megan worked tirelessly to stay up to date on the current situation

R&R Weddings and Events was the perfect venue for our wedding. The staff is phenomenal. Any and all questions and concerns we had surrounded our wedding day were answered quickly and professionally. I own The Lost Forty Tiny weddings and Elopements and R&R was right there ready and willing to create scaled down packages for my couples during this crazy time. They offer TWO beautiful and spacious getting ready spaces for both sides of the wedding party to get snazzed up and also have a well lit, clean back drop ceremony space that can be transformed in many different ways. You don't have to worry about seating as it's already provided and they even have a beautiful hexagon arbor! There is ample parking, plenty of bathrooms for guests
