Emily Pugh lied about being able to deliver a load the same day. When I confronted her about it and asked for compensation she was very unprofessional and rude. I don't recommend this company unless you like having your time wasted, not getting paid and being insulted.

We are the trucking company that did the job with Mr. Tyler Hughes, he is one of the best Brokers with who I worked before.
He really did his job very professionally, he helped us to solve the problem with the load at 1 am in LOS ANGELES, he every time in touch with the dispatchers and trying to do best how he can to save time and money for everyone.
Highly recommended work with him, if You will see his name on the rate agreement, it means that You catch a happy ticket.

Brokerage department is one of the worst broker, they make carrier to wait for 1 hour to send rate con and it is always like that, and if truck is covered during that period, they report a carrier on 411. they have no clue why they are reporting, they just want all carrier to stay down, and they do not answer phone calls too after reporting. if you have an option, do NOT us them, worst broker so far we have seen. NO GOOD BROKER

I don’t recommend this brokerage. They’re very shady and a big liars. They lie to driver and dispatch about the appointments and say it’s FCFS. If you already booked a load, and when your driver(s) reach(s) PU or delivery be ready to stuck there for more then 24 hours just because the broker didn’t set any appointments or they just lied to you about the actual appt. Check with shipper and receiver yourself before going there. AND ON TOP OF THAT, NO COMPENSATION FOR CARRIER. Even if its their mistake. If I could give zero stars I would.

If there was a 10 star i would have definitely rated John Westover and his company that. I am your number 1 favorite driver. I always look forward to delivering for your comany. Every load has always went smoothly and the communication is always open 24/7. If you like honesty and someone that thinks of the driver first, then give John a call.

I work for JBaron trucking ( Iam their dispatcher ) and have used First Star Logistics on several occasions. Every experience and load that has been booked through John Westover has absolutely been amazing. The loads has ran smoothly and our rate con has always been what we agree on. Once you get to know John personally , he becomes family instead of just another brooker. I highly recommend y'all to give this company a chance. Ask for John Westover bc I know first hand he will take care of you.
