FloClear started as an idea that David Stinson had from his early days of being the General Manager of Pacific Press in Vancouver, Canada back in the early 70's. Why can't fountain solution be continuously cleaned such that its longevity is extended without adversely affecting the inherent properties of the fountain solution itself.

Over the years, many have asked for a filtration system that delivers similar performance to our premium models, but with lower initial costs. We have answered with the FloClear Compact Series.
The FloClear D-06 was the first upgrade to the original D-02 unit. Due to customer feedback and demand we added a small CPU with LCD display as well as modified the pump configuration to give the customer some informational feedback. This model is equipped to shut the unit off for either a high pressure fault or a low pressure fault and alert the user.
This unit is similar in footprint and operation to the D-06 Compact, however, it is specifically designed for the larger and faster Web Offset presses.
Because Web offset printing is used for high-volume publications such as mass-market books, magazines, newspapers, catalogs and brochures, the speed of the press can range from 5 to 50 ft per second, and the paper quality being used for each specific job can vary dramatically, the surface area of the media needed to manage such volume of contamination is significantly increased in the FloClear D-07 from the standard FloClear Full Size model.

Using cabinetry that meets the OEM's specification in color, height, and depth, FloClear is able to become a seamless part of the infrastructure on the gear side of the press and either integrate into any dampening system upon installation of a new press, or be retrofit into any existing installation.
