Horrible company. Bad quality frames, bad customer service. I ordered a couple of frames and had a number of issues.
1. Nowhere in the product description does it mention that the frame comes unassembled.
2. The frame colour does not even look remotely close to what appears on the website.
3. The plexiglass came with a massive crack in it.
When I sent a request for refund, it was ignored. When I responded to one of their spam emails, an owner called me but said they couldn't refund to Canada. She said she would replace the broken plexiglass, but I'd have to pay full price for new frames

My husband wanted to surprise me for Mother's Day and bought me a custom frame to fit a special work of art. Because of its unique proportions, the frame was a couple of hundred dollars but he was excited to be able to hang the artwork. The shipping was on time but when he received the package it was simply a flat cardboard taped together - no bubble wrap or anything to protect the frame. When he opened it, the frame was obviously broken already! The material was very cheap to begin with, but my husband tried contacting customer service a couple of times and they tried to convince him to keep

I ordered a frame online which was exactly as pictured on their website. I was a little concerned because the frame was 48 inches long and I was hoping that the carrier wouldn't bend or break it. The frame arrived in perfect conditiion because the company took the effort to wrap it in polywrap and reinforced the outer packaging for security. I was very pleased with my order and will not hesitate to order from them again.

The only reason I gave this even two stars is because the frame itself it actually very nice and just what I was looking for. Unfortunately, everything else is obviously extremely cheap. The backing is just foamboard, the plastic front (instead of glass) is very rough cut and has a giant scratch in the front, and they don't provide you all of the materials to hang it with. I will have to buy wire to actually hang it, figure out a way to keep the backing on the frame, and probably buy another piece of glass for the front. This was extremely disappointing, and clearly has additional costs. I

I've used Frames By Mail several times over the years - I used to work in a professional framing shop, and I'm quite comfortable measuring accurately and designing mat and frame layouts that I then assemble myself. I like that they offer acid-free materials and a wide selection of well-priced frames. I've been happy with the accuracy and quality of the materials I've received. I've used this company many times over the years, despite finding the cuts on the metal frames to be off, leaving sharp openings at the corners, and despite cuts on wood frames resulting in chipping, and cross cuts at the corners of the mats, mainly for the convenience of being able to just order what I need to do my own framing of art and cross stitch projects. No major complaints. I needed a custom 11.5" x 11.5" wood frame since this particular size wasn't standard and I couldn't find anywhere. After looking around online, I came across Frames By Mail. Based on the few online frame companies I found, Frames By Mail appeared to offer the best value/price, while also shipping to Canada for a reasonable fee. Frame came in about two weeks via UPS, and my photograph fit in perfectly.

Ordered a panoramic-proportioned (13" x 38") basic metal frame and plexi. Awful quality of work. The plexi was not true -Â 3/8" wider at one end than the other. Not only that, but it looks like it was cut with a wood blade -Â tear-out and chips. But once you peel the blue backing off the plexi, it's not worth returning for a few pennies back once the shipping and restocking fee are accounted for.
Metal frame mitre cuts weren't much better. Looks like they're done by a beginner, or a someone not paying attention, or with a dull blade, or a combination of the three

I purchased small custom black frame (8 1/4 x 10 1/2) with matte. The quality of the frame is good and the art looks great in it. I did not expect to have to attach the metal mounting brackets and wire hanger onto to the frame. Also, the frame does not come with wire, which is odd. Luckily I had wire I was able to use.

I tried Frames by Mail because of the good prices and the great deals, thought I'd take a chance on an online site for my printing & framing needs.
I just got my second piece of art (photography) prints matted and framed by Frames by Mail. A couple of months ago I got photography printed on canvas and framed and just got back an image printed, matted and framed. My pieces came in a very timely manner way faster than if I dropped off an already printed print to be matted and framed at my local framer. The image is clear, sharp color is spot on and vivid and they were framed very well,

Super thrilled with my frame that I just received.
I had a very large map that was mounted on foam board and I needed to mount on the wall. The frame was easy to select online and easy to assemble with the included instructions. Looks great and exceeded my expectations.
I will not hesitate to use frames by mail again as it is my go to for quick service and reliable merchandise.

Ordered 3 frames, only received one, despite shipping invoice saying they shipped all 3. When confronted, claimed "oops, should have been marked backordered, you'll get your stuff next week".
Next week comes and goes, no frames.
Finally called them, "oh, the manufacturer said we would have our stock by the 15th", which is TWO WEEKS ahead of now.
Don't expect your frames on time, or at all.

I ordered my frame on Dec 20th and it took a month to get it. They were out of 3 different types of wood for the frames and didn't notify me until a week after ordering. After choosing the third different type of wood they finally received the original wood I ordered. After all of the challenges that I had with their company, they were unwilling to do anything to accommodate the incredibly late frame and poor customer service. What a terrible experience.

I know there are a lot of bad reviews from people here about this place, but its worth mentioning that I live in STL and have never needed to have them ship me anything, I usually go to their place and pick up my order. They are located in a small industrial park in STL county. I have used this place for years and have never had a problem and in the few cases where there was an issue, they corrected it quickly and without any fuss. Just canceled my $150+ order with these people. Lousy customer service. They do not return phone calls or email. Waited almost 4 weeks for the frames they promised to ship out in 4-5 days. Had to call to find out the status of the order. Out of 8 different type of frames I ordered they had only 1 in stock. They asked me to wait for 2 more weeks. No apologies what-so-ever.
