Encouraged by a master sign painter in the early eighties, I began hand lettering signs at an early age. The skills required to be a "sign maker" are highly specialized, including training in many different trades. The old-timers in the industry, coveted the "secrets" of their trade, only passing along advice to the most motivated or talented young upstarts.

Your logo should be a one-of-a-kind visual identity that expresses your business' unique value or style, instantly recognizable and memorable to new and existing customers. My Favorite thing about The Graphic Garage is it's local, great pricing, and awesome customer service. I really didn't know where to start with a design and they designed 3 different ones for me and we ended up with a perfect one that everyone likes a lot. I plan to use The Graphic Garage for all my Truck and Van lettering!

Mike and his crew have now lettered 2 vans for me, designed & made yard signs, road frontage advertising signs and magnets for my business. The quality is top notch and the price point is excellent. I'd recommend them over anyone in/around Charlottesville and that's why they have my continued business.

We already had a sign for our second store (Mailbox Express) but it was too long. They were able to split it and move "Express" to be underneath "Mailbox" saving us money. They also took care of getting the permit from Albemarle County that was necessary for putting the sign up. They were professional and courteous. I highly recommend them for any business!!
