If honesty, reliability, and consideration are at all important factors when deciding to hire a contractor then I hope you learn from my mistake, heed my advice and search elsewhere. A very poor experience from the beginning.
Lehigh Valley Hardwood has kept almost $500 of my deposit and all I have to show for it is 80 square feet of unfinished floor boards which they refuse to take back. That’s $6.02 per square foot, over twice the market rate for this material. I offered to deliver the oak material myself as well as provide them a $100 restocking fee. Nope. Adam did a beautiful job. He is very professional and knowledgeable about hardwood flooring. The finish look is stunning. He also explained to us how to take care of the floor. I've hired Lehigh Valley hardwood more than 6 times over the past 15 years, across 3 different houses. Their work is the highest quality, and the service is as good as it gets. We had Lehigh Valley Hardwood Flooring refinish our floors and add hardwood to our stairs/hallway. Not only did they fit us into their schedule on short notice, the floors turned out amazing! Jay was in charge of our project. He kept us up-to-date with progress pictures and also finished early. His attention to detail really impressed us. We are so happy we chose them.
