Each month, Springfield Nursing & Rehabilitation Center provides a Chef's Selection Dinner, which showcases gourmet cuisine from around the world. Comfort care is a program designed to prevent and manage symptoms and side effects related to various illnesses. The goal of Springfield Nursing & Rehab's program is to help people feel better by providing emotional, social, and spiritual guidance, in addition to symptom management.
Comfort care can provide comfort at the beginning of a diagnosis, compared to other comfort programs focusing on end of life, which begin after treatment for the disease has ceased.With comfort care, treatment measures continue, meaning you are able to receive services such as physical, occupational, speech, and IV therapy.

After 21 years of healthcare, this long term care facility has been an eye opening experience. I have been deceived by negativity and gossip those will spread about nursing homes in general. Although, I may not speak for “All” nursing homes, I will honestly confirm the residents at this facility become family, and are treated with respect, dignity, and compassionate care. Even in an uncertain, discouraging, Covid-19 pandemic and challenges healthcare employees face daily, this team of individuals providing direct or indirect residential care, have been some of the best I’ve worked with throughout
