With a strong desire to pour almost two decades' worth of letterpress and design experience into my own business, Ancora Letterpress was founded in 2017. I have worked as a designer, press operator, educator, bindery and plate maker, and -at the earliest in my journey- a student and intern. At the core of what I do - although I pull from all of my previous roles when I am working on a project - is the excitement of the student.
I am constantly open to learning and seeing in new ways. I approach each project and client with the enthusiasm of my first, yet I bring the entirety of my experience and knowledge to the table. I take pride in the details, and I am ignited by the process.

We would love to work with you! With just a few details on your project, we can give you a general estimate on the investment and timeframe you need. What kind of files do you need? Letterpress printing requires vector-based files with all text outlined prior to being sent. We prefer press-ready pdf's and Illustrator files.

I discovered Ancora Letterpress by searching for letterpress businesses in Seattle area, and so happy I have! Working with Debra on my wedding invitation package was a wonderful experience of discovery, creativity, and joy of coming up with a perfect result. Debra was incredibly patient through the file creating process, and provided many options and directions to find what would work best for my needs. (Not posing the invitation card here for privacy, but I assure you, it was beautiful).

I absolutely love my stationary I ordered form Ancora! I had previously been ordering from Minted but the quality of the paper, price and personal service Debra at Ancora offered all cannot be beat. I was so impressed with my stationary that I immediately placed a second order for note cards for my children which they love. Thank you for your design advice and quick and friendly service!

Working with Debra on my wedding invitations and stationary was the best experience! The final products were absolutely perfect. She was incredibly patient with me, even during my most stressed out bride moments. She helped me create an entire custom wedding suite and was meticulous in the execution. Everything worked together seamlessly and she helped me achieve the perfect Pacific Northwest feel to my wedding. I discovered Ancora Letterpress by simply doing a search for local letterpress to do a fun vanity project (personalized book plates). Debra responded to my web-query quickly and invited me to her studio where she was amazingly generous with her time and allowed me to ask her practically endless questions while we determined which direction to go with my little project.
