PEP Solar

The PEP SOLAR crew of electricians and installers did a superior job of installing our 23 solar panels and our 2 Tesla power walls. We also had their project concierge working with us to keep us apprised of permits, scheduling and payments so that the project could move seamlessly!
My husband and I were amazed at how quickly, efficiently and expertly they completed the job--from installation of panels to complete set up of our power walls (storage batteries). We had a great overall experience working with Pep Solar. We had some hiccups in the beginning, but they got everything squared away and back on track quickly. This is an interesting review to write as there were many things about working with PEP Solar that were great.., and a couple others that were not. Their Sales Rep (Dallas) was instrumental in getting us to choose them in the first place. His ability to explain the options, process, financial advantages and disadvantages, and in general helping us to understand the current state of Solar in the state was impressive. These guys did what they said they would do. They were ontime and the tech that ran the crew at our house was very informative and knowledgeable! Our system has been working now for two months and I can watch the performance in KW hours on my phone each day. We are producing more than we are consuming but I don’t have a lot of data to report since our system is so new. It looks like we will be 20-30% over what we use so our bill should be around zero but I’m expecting to pay the service fee from APS and not much more. Or it may even give us credits for that. I would use PEP solar again!

Pep Solar was awesome! The permitting process was long, but once approved all went smoothly. Installers were great. They showed up when they said they would and got it done in 3 days. They were very professional and friendly. Highly recommend Pep Solar!!!

PEP Solar was very easy to work with from sales to institution and for answering questions. Ales listened to my concerns and addressed them with accurate answers. The install team was amazing. They worked together as a team and cleaned up nicely at the end of the day. Now that my system is up and running, I cannot express my happiness with the production. One happy customer!

These guys did a great job installing my solar, always showed up on time, if not early, and answered all my weird questions.
They even installed the system slightly outside their current preferred way at my request so that I was able to monitor my own usage with my home automation system and adjust my usage based on my current energy production.

I called a week ago to set up having a charger installed for my Tesla. I was given an appointment on Tuesday at 2pm with Dallas. It was a phone appointment, so I made sure I was available to answer his call. I needed my car charger as the local super chargers are quite a distance away. Dallas never called. Now two days later, Dallas decides to call! Acted like he was calling on schedule. When I asked about the Tuesday appointment he said he left a voicemail. Which he absolutely did not. A rapidly failing solar system with a 25 year warranty is rendered useless if you can't get the parts to repair it. It started failing as early as 4 years old and is now 8 years old or so. So, minus the blah, blah, blah my responsibilility/your responsibility they installed inferior products from a now defunct manufacturer and I'm only out 25k on a partially functioning system. But for an undisclosed amount they will let me buy another system, no thanks a lot.

Update- with all do respect, everything you've listed below with your response is incorrect but thx for your feed back.
The most important scenario is cust svc especially a NEW cust and existing.
Never the less your rant is incorrect, I've left you a VM as you did me while I was working as you are now closed~ no one is being non responsive, I'll await your contact @ the Oregon/Washington number that is valid. Not everyone moves and changes their contact number.
We've relocated a company to help us with our owned solar needs on the home we own in Maricopa.

My husband and I paid PEP Solar over $56,000 for solar panels and a pool heater. Although we were very pleased with the original customer service and the installation of all the panels and associated equipment, PEP Solar does not follow through with resolving issues. We started having production issues within the first year of operation. Instead of trying to figure out exactly what was causing the problem, PEP Solar blamed the problems on the installation of bird barriers which were installed three months after electricity production started to decline. Be fore warned. I used this company a year a ago. I would NOT recommend because of an on going issue. I've had to write complaints to the ROC, BBB, and the attorney general. Issue is still not resolved. Had great service in the beginning but soon as an issue becomes apparent they would shift the blame without any proof the blame involves another party. Be real careful with these guys.

We never asked for a discount. We asked for you to provide the equipment that was on our contract, a phone call , a walk thru. That's it.
