So many perks including a 16 hour time block, FREE ample parking, room set-up and tear-down included, bartenders and waitstaff included at no additional charge and so much more!

With more than 18 years of catering experience behind us we have expanded our services to provide the best in culinary catering to any event you host! You can now enjoy our flawless cuisine in house for your special event or anywhere in the Des Moines Metro area! We provide delivery, set up, and all the extras.
Yes, your room rental fee covers an on-site Event Coordinator to assist in catering, bar, and room set-up details. They will also be present at your event to ensure all of those elements run smoothly. The District is an open, 5,000 square-foot facility, Including a loft level and an additional Bridal Suite.

My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at The District Venue on 9-6-2020 and had an amazing experience! Erika, the wedding coordinator, is so nice and helped us every step of the way through the planning process. The food/catering is also through The District Venue when you have your reception here, and it is so good! We served ours family style which was super quick and simple. They have a lot of decorations there that you can rent, or you can bring in your own stuff too, which is nice to have both options. We were able to get into the venue that morning at 10:00am to start decorating

I traveled from Minneapolis to host and DJ a wedding for a couple that rescheduled due to Covid with no idea what I was getting into. What a beautiful venue and amazing staff. Erica and her team are amazing! Accommodation to the couple, guests, and us vendors. If you are considering having a reception in the Des Moines area, choose this place. You will not be sorry.

Awesome wedding venue, and our niece's wedding was no exception. When a storm made the lights go out during the ceremony, that was one thing. But we were highly impressed at the professionalism of your staff when the power went out again minutes into the dinner service. Nobody missed a beat, the food remained hot and delicious through the early candlelight meal. A truly magical night for friends and family alike. Many thanks!
