At Hitch and Buggy Trailer Sales, we carry new Lakota Horse/Stock Trailers. All Horse Trailers are Aluminum with Living Quarter Packages available. You can see what we have on hand or we can special order you whatever you'd like. We also have used trailers of all lines as we take them in on trade. We are sad to say that the Cherokee Trailer company has closed and is no longer manufacturing new trailers.

Hitch and Buggy Trailer Sales started selling trailers to the Mitchell and surrounding areas in 1994. Ron & LuEva Halweg have been deeply involved in horses at all levels their entire lives. Whether it is showing quarter horses, SDRA, High School or 4-H rodeos, barrel races, team ropings, team sortings or team pennings, the Halweg family has the experience and expertise to know what you want and need in a trailer.
Sought after dark gray skin with light birch interior, making the trailer seem open and airy. Dinette in the slide offers increased seating and the couch up against the riser also provides addional sleeping space. Full kitchen and bath round out the coolness of the front end LQ. Horse trailers are in short supply this year.
Rare used Lakota 4 Horse Living Quarters in fantastic shape, ready to take on it's next family. This has it all - mangers, awning, rear tack, 15' shortwall in the living quarters with kitchen in the rear. This trailer is in fantastic shape, but Harts are typically built to last. Small 8' shortwall LQ makes it handy to pull, but has all you need with a full bath and nice sized fridge.

They make horse, cattle, bull & small animal feeders. Hay Chix hay nets come in a variety of sizes including a travel hay bag, corner stall bag, small square bale bag and large round bale bag.
