I'll start by saying we very much enjoyed our stay at Bryce view lodge, but any of the reviews stating great breakfast and nice rooms should be ashamed. This place is old, looks as if the beds haven't been replaced since the 90s. The breakfast though that was the real bummer here. We were so excited it was at the restaurant across the street and free, but after entering and seeing the food we both had to laugh and try to get down what was on our plates. The eggs seem to be liquid eggs and they're very very runny, maybe to keep them from getting dry from sitting in the buffet....but

I hate to tell you about this place because I don't want them to raise the price because of all the glowing reviews but we were shocked to find how cheap this hotel was. The rooms were clean, comfortable and right next to the park. We also got free breakfast at Ruby's. I'm just going to stay here from now on when I go to Bryce.

Conveniently located to the park. Close to a couple of the shuttle stops and the dining options. Walking distance to Ebenezer's, a country dinner show. Rooms are simple. Check in was easy and friendly. We had a small fridge in the room, good water pressure and the heat kept you toasty.

Remembrance of Motel Sixes past. The people at this place were nice, but man, the room was a POS. There were flies everywhere! They gave us slips for free breakfast, but we went to the place they said it was good for (the Best Western) and were kicked out because the slip wasn't accepted there. Turns out it was good at a restaurant across the street, not the Best Western. I think they need to get their stories straight. This place is OK for a quick overnighter, but wouldn't stay here for very long.

This is a simple, clean, quiet lodge at a good price. Nothing fancy. Clean sheets, good tv, clean bathroom. Price ($80/night) included full breakfast buffet with very good food and coffee. We would return if in the area.

It was a great place to rest. With only a 7 minute drive time to the entrance of Bryce.
Only problem we had was the tub would not drain, you stood in ankle deep water as you showered.
It was very quiet with a nice view. But I don’t recommend if you need a mini fridge or a microwave as they don’t have one.

A fine place to lay your head and the receptionist was kind. Very easy access to the National Park. Though the place certainly needs to be updated as the room was quite dated. Lacked a mini fridge and microwave and the main lamp lacked a switch and needed to be plugged/unplugged to turn it on/off. The shower didn't drain well though in their defense we did not raise it with the front desk since we were only there for a short time.

Rug was dirty with stains
No switch on bedside lamps. The switch was removed requiring using the wall switch by the door. The bedside lamps have an unsafe plug. The bed rubs against the cord. This could be a fire hazard. Maintenance person said this is the policy of the owners not to replace the plugs (a five minute fix costing less than $5).
The door does not close correctly.
The heater is difficult to use and does not have a thermostat.
Breakfast was excellent. Close to Brice Canyon NP. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Towels were in good condition.

Simple hotel. Clean sheets and towels. Dirty floor and we had the same issue as others have said about the lights. A great breakfast for free, much better than most hotels I've been to. Very close to the park (5 min).

So the worst of it is the lamp between the beds had the switch knobs removed, making it impossible to turn the lights off unless you actually unplugged it from the wall....which we did. I like sleeping in the dark.....call me crazy. Beyond that, the room was clean, hot water fine, free buffet breakfast which is a bit of a walk, but well worth it. You could drive if you wanted but we didn't. A full breakfast buffet was a first for us at such an economical hotel. All things considered - particularly what we actually paid for the room- we'd do it again. Clean, safe, and has a shuttle stop on the property

Blah! Only redeeming feature is its location. A place to lay my head close to park. That's it. Check-in staff were friendly.

Lawwwd, if I could give this joint ZERO STARS, I would.

Firstly, they cancelled our reservation. So when we went to check-in - they couldn't find it. After some time, they found it, but had to give us a 2-Queen room instead of the King we booked because they were "out of rooms".

There's plenty of parking. When we entered the room, we found there was no mini fridge (deal breaker when traveling with a 1-year old) even though it comes with the room. It was pretty outdated and dirty, and I've stayed in some cheap hotels. I'm ok with outdated as long as it's clean

Incompetent front of the house staff (made billing errors despite clear instructions)
Interior: Out of date decor and beds whose creaking can wake up the upstairs neighbors.
To be completely fair: the breakfast buffet is nicer than most, but there's no consistent use of masks by the waiting staffs

This hotel just needs some updates. It is a little old and the hotel rooms have a musty smell. Part of understands that after hiking all day you don't need a super clean place but at the same time you do want to feel comfortable. The pool is across the street in another hotel. It is an indoor pool which is nice. There were a lot of people in it and it gets pretty humid.

With your stay you get to enjoy continental breakfast. This is your usual faire but there were hard boiled eggs. This continental breakfast is great for those looking to get a quick bite before hiking in the canyon! The hostess

Stayed in a room for 2 nights in building 2 on 2nd floor. There are no elevators so keep this in mind if you have heavy bags or any persons with limited mobility. Our room was ok, outdated. The floor for the bathroom/sink was uneven, paint peeling off walls in bathroom and our tub filled up with every shower taking forever to drain. The breakfast is a short walk in Ebenezers restaurant which consisted of cold hard boiled eggs, muffins and small danishes, yogurt, apples bananas oranges, toast, croissants, flavored oatmeal packs and milk & cereal. Not the best selection before heading

Conveniently located in Bryce Canyon outside of the national park. The front office staff were very nice and friendly and steered us in the right direction for a dinner restaurant. Our room was comfortable and was equipped with a refrigerator, microwave and hair dryer. I was going to give this place five stars until I went to clean up something on the bathroom floor with a used washcloth, and after I rubbed it around with my foot and picked it up, it was black. Ick. They I looked more carefully at the floor and there was hair on it from a previous guest. They gave us a breakfast pass for

We stayed here for 2 nights while touring the area. I wanted to stay inside the park, but that was full, and this was much less than the Best Westerns. We liked the hotel's proximity to Bryce Canyon National Park. The room was average. Nothing special about it; you could tell it had been a while since it had been updated. It did come with a free breakfast across the street, which was nice. It wasn't a bad hotel, it just wasn't especially good. Although not the best, it's good if you want to stay near Bryce without paying a ton ($70 less a night than the cheaper BW).

This hotel is right at the entrance to Bryce Canyon. It was cheap and had decent reviews and we were tired of paying $250 each night. It was old but very clean. The bathroom was nice, it had a flat screen tv with lots of channels. They had a real breakfast buffet for free that I have never seen in a regular hotel. I only give 4 stars as it's not a Hilton but it's pretty much better than a Hilton in many respects. I will stay here every time in the future.

Pros:
-Unbeatable location, just 5 minutes from Bryce Canyon NP.
-Very affordable.
-I accidentally left my watch in my room, and the staff kindly shipped it to me the day of.
-Complimentary breakfast, which we had to go each day, was pretty good. It came with an egg burrito, fruit, granola bar, and a drink.
-Rooms have ac/heat.

Cons:
-The beds are very old and loud. They creaked with each toss and turn. The pillows are also very flat and don't provide any support.
-I can't be certain as to whether they washed the sheets. They smelled clean, but there were a couple small lipstick

Can't beat this quality for the price! Comfortable beds, pillows & AC. The bath tub drained very very slowly and water pooled when we showered, but honestly not a huge issue as the price was so good & it was a 5 minute drive into the park! I recommend staying here.

Room was fine. Good price. But the restaurant they sent us too for complimentary breakfast was awful. Ruby's cowboy and steak buffet. Everything beside the salad was pretty gross. Breakfast was fine. However, I went to get my complimentary breakfast with my mom and we decided to order a to go pancake meal so we could tip our waiter. When we left we were told to go to the cashier. First I paid. It went through on my bank account, I showed the cashier. She said it didn't go through on her side. So my mom tried her card. It went through on her side. We both showed the cashier. She didn&apos

Bryce View Lodge is your basic hotel that's perfect if you are just looking for a place to sleep and shower. It could use some remodeling as the hotel has a very old feel to it. However, the AC worked and we slept soundly although it can get loud in the morning. The rooms could use more pillows since they only provide some square ones to sleep on for each person. Breakfast was alright, there weren't too many options but I was able to make do with bread, cereal, and yogurt. It was fine for one night in Bryce Canyon!

Adequate, I guess. Beds are decent, rooms are reasonably clean. When the maids cleaned the room, rather than emptying the garbage they just left the bag on top of the dresser. Also, the plumbing is messed up so when you're taking a shower the water just randomly switches from nice and hot to freezing cold. My girlfriend's scream hit a decibel previously thought to not exist out of CenturyLink Field games and now I have a constant ringing in my ears.

If I were to return (and Bryce Canyon itself is an amazing National Park) I wouldn't stay here.

Ok for one night if all you require is a basic clean place to sleep. Bed was comfortable enough. Clean linens. Basic toiletries. Good water pressure Make sure to turn on the fridge ; mine was off. Heater and wifi worked fine. Breakfast was the basic cold nearly all carb fare. One big negative was that the door would not close without slamming it -sorry neighbors!
