Services
Reiki practitioners use a technique called palm healing or hands-on healing through which a "universal energy" is said to be transferred through the palms of the practitioner to the patient in order to encourage emotional or physical healing. A reiki session at our studio is 1 hour long.
During this one hour you will be asked questions to evaluate your condition or intention of doing reiki, then it will be explained how the reiki session unfolds & for your personal intention in person.

These classes are designed to help empower the community with knowledge and self-care for healing the mind and body. Classes are for all ages. Pre-registration is recommended as some class sizes are limited. The first Tuesday of each month we will have East Wind Happy Hour with one of our acupuncturists!
A prospective student asked the studio not long ago what the difference was between tai chi and qigong. I probably should have addressed this question earlier so people answering the phones would have a ready answer. But since experience is a thing you don't get until right after you need it, here we are.

This was my first time at this yoga studio and I left very unimpressed. I took the 2 hour kundalini workshop and for $45 , you would expect the teacher to be prepared and much more knowledgeable. The class seemed thrown together and she kept referring to notes when she would have everyone start a pose and then stop them midway through and say she did it wrong. Total waste of time and money. I gave east wind two stars because i have heard the other classes are good, the ambience is nice, and the other staff is helpful.

I really enjoyed yoga here. I went to a free community class on a Saturday. I was thankful for my teacher because we were able to work on some core work, something I feel is a bit overlooked in yoga. I was a bit surprised to see the teacher working off of a cheat sheet piece of paper, other than that, I liked it a lot!
